My wife cheated on me, somehow my parents blame me, and they still have family dinners without me. I don't even know where to start because my life feels like it's been flipped upside down. I'm 28 m, and a few months ago, I found out my wife, 30 f let's call her Kayla, was cheating on me. That betrayal shattered me in ways I didn't know were possible, but what's been even harder to process is how my family has reacted. Instead of supporting me, they've somehow turned this into my fault.
I thought my parents would have my back, but instead, they've been blaming me for the affair. According to them, I must have pushed her away, or not been enough for her to stay faithful. And to make things worse, they've continued having weekly family dinners where Kayla is a regular guest. Meanwhile, I'm not even invited.
