Ezra’s arc from immature and indifferent to committed Jedi is truly satisfying at the end. Not quite as drastic as Ashoka’s transformation, but great nonetheless. So happy you both decided to continue watching The Clone Wars and now Rebels, and I’m hopeful you’ll watch The Bad Batch later on. I grew up on Star Wars animation and it’s great to see it get some love.

I can never verify this little tidbit of info, but I learned that a small part of her contract for being on the show was that Kanan couldn't eliminate the seventh sister. Like I said, I read that somewhere and I cannot verify it anymore, so it's not a fun fact until I can confirm it's a real thing.

FWIW... The in-canon (possibly legends) explanation is that the standard Issue blaster rifle they are armed with (E-11), just can't be aimed accurately. Too much power too little barrel. It isn't much of an issue when you have huge numbers on both sides, and the number of people firing + number of targets offsets its poor accuracy. But in small numbers its really an issue. But yeah it's a bit ridiculous.

A lot of Ezra's behavior for the next couple seasons will seem a little naive but there's a punchline to it in the end. That last episode was probably more about his growth as a person than as a jedi. a lot of characters will have a lot of personal growth; crazy lore stuff too and space pew pews but definitely a lotter of character stuff. I would also be careful not to expect Vader. The show continues to find a way to escalate but not toward A New Hope really.

It’s pretty much a retelling to general/only tv media fans where the book for her she have met the male inquisitor you saw in these episodes and fought him. And the rebels show came out before tales of Jedi so 100% the backstory on how they know her is based on that book.

What I love about Season 2, Episode 4 is how it goes to show how much better the AT-TE (the six-legged Republic walkers) are than AT-ATs. They both have a top speed of 60 kilometers per hour, but the AT-TE is much more stable (no snowspeeder tow cables are gonna trip them up), troops can deploy without needing a grappling line or a jet pack, it's canon can put an AT-TE out of commission with one (albeit well-placed) hit and the AT-AT's primary weapons didn't even stop this busted up walker that's W A Y past its prime

I’m sure it’s been explained at some point somewhere, but for good measure… 1. The Clones look older because of their accelerated aging. Yes, there is a design difference, but their bodies have aged much faster than most people would have. Jango requested that Boba age at a natural rate so he could raise him as a son. 2. Storm Troopers aren’t nearly as skilled as Clones for a few reasons. For one, the Empire just wanted a massive army regardless of skill or ability whereas Clones were literally bred for war. Secondly, the Storm Troopers guns weren’t good for aiming either, so that is also a factor. On another note, the guy Inquisitor here is the Dave one from the Kenobi series.

I'm glad this video came out today because our dog (first ever dog) has passed away 2 days ago in our backyard and it's been hard trying not to think about him being gone. His name was Coco and he has been with us for like 12 years and he passed due to some major health issues because of his age. We all miss him so much and it's hard to believe that he's really gone because it happened so fast. One day he was here and the next he was gone. I don't know how people deal with this sort of thing but I hope it gets easier. The hardest part is just dealing with the emptiness in my house because he would always make noise and walk around and now it's just uncomfortably silent. Anyways, thank you for the video as it keeps me distracted for the time being!

I enjoyed Rebels a lot, but I sense your frustration about the plot armour with the main characters. Sure, kid's oriented show etc, but it still gets frustrating. I saw another YT video critiquing Kenobi Empire vs Andor Empire and how dumb Kenobi Empire is. Unfortunately Rebels feels more Kenobi like, but the rest of the stories being told are much better and kind of makes it more palatable
