The Ahsoka Vader storyline is not the main story of Rebels, its more of a Bonus for the Clone Wars fans. The main story of Rebels is building the Rebellion , recruiting rebels, and Ezras journey to learn more about the Force and become a Jedi. These three episodes were very important from that respect and this is what we can expect from Rebels going forward.

@@Rorujin Or perhaps it's just not clear in the moment and will become clear as the pieces fall into place. Personally I've not watched Rebels and so far a lot of the episodes in season 2 feel like they're not progressing the plot, but they are pushing the character progression forward of all of the crew so there's still been value in them. If the elements begin to come together from these standalone episodes then fair play, I look forward to seeing that too! Oh and for reference, I really dislike The Last Jedi too. I really wish I loved it and I'm envious of those who do, I don't like disliking Star Wars. I just think the story wasn't all that entertaining and I didn't think the way the characters changed was justified in the movie well enough. They relied on you assuming their change happened between movies, Luke being the biggest example but also characters like Poe were characterised very differently even though there's only days/weeks between 7 and 8. It's also a shame that Rose got shafted with a rubbish side-plot Anyway, that's enough unneeded waffle sorry about that. Point is that Rebels definitely has a lot more promise than I initially realised after giving up watching the pilot and I'm excited to see what comes next

The ancient Lasats used the Force to navigate through hyperspace. It's just his upbringing and personality but it doesn't get in the way of his strong character - if anything it's a part of his drive. Just like Leia who grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, and was always extremely mature and precocious which wouldn't have happened if she grew up on a farm. Hera is, and always was, in charge. Kanan's callsign was Spectre 1 and Hera was Spectre 2 on purpose so folks would assume he was in charge when she had all the vital info. It was part of the same subterfuge as keeping Sabine locked out of the loop vis a vis Fulcrum, to keep each rebel cell as separate as possible
@latech7671 Жыл бұрын
While the first Season did not always show it perfectly, mostly because we focused on Ezra and Kanan is his master: When it comes to the Spectres (Ghost Crew), Hera was always in charge. She started the crew and she was the one with all the information (for example the contract to Fulkrum) Also, I think you are really missing how much Ezra is growing as a Jedi. This was probably the first episode where he showed powers that exceeded Kanans as Kanan simply isn't connected to the living force enough to make such a deep connection like Ezra did to the Purrgil

That scene where the Ghost crew encounter the maelstrom is one of, if not maybe THE most beautifully animated and scored scene by the team behind Clone Wars and Rebels. It's as close to perfect as Star Wars animation can get. It also has that sense of awe and mystery, which Star Wars often excels at whenever it chooses to focus on it. Also the star cluster is most certainly my favorite piece of art to come out of these shows. These are 3 of my favorite episodes from Rebels, The Jorneyman Protectors being featured into Canon, Concord Dawn which was only mentioned before (in TCW, the sniper that "killed" Obi-Wan was born there and so is Jango Fett) getting to know that Sabine Wren is part of house Vizsla/Death Watch (we didn't know about Ursa Wren back then), the arrival to Lirasan, I used to use a frame of the Ghost moving through the maelstorm as my wallpaper for a while because that scene is just one of the best in overall Star Wars, also, of course, the mentioning of the Ashla (which is often a name for the "light side of the force" by many religions and ancient force users, also the name of one of the moons of Tython, the planet where Grogu contacted Luke before getting kidnapped by Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian S2). And of course the purgils, which won't be the last time we see them, needless to say they get shown at The Mandalorian S3 first episode. I think these 3 episodes are so rich in lore building, character development and so beautiful visuals and soundtrack, even if it is understandable how distracting it is to be aware that Ahsoka and Vader are relevant in this season, for me, this is pretty much perfect Star Wars.

The Ghost is a VCX-100 light freighter. A stock model is estimated at 155,000 credits or 75,000 used. The Ghost is much more expensive since she's upgraded with a lot of aftermarket equipment not all of it legal. It's really hard to figure out the exchange rate of Credits to dollars. Since a full meal can set you back 150 credits for a fancy hotel dining experience. Also Star Wars credits don't go through inflation the way we do. So the price of a blaster in 5 BBY will be the same in 300 ABY.

But i guess, since they are much older than the original target audience back then, nostalgia has a lot to do with that. But i'm sure they would appreciate those episodes much more with a second and private viewing, but since they constantly stress on how much they disliked S1 and 2, that will probably never happen. It is a bit sad how so many ppl seem to judge everyting from second to second without having the patience and curiosity to see where the story takes them.... In a way everyone seem to lack the abillity to keep an open mind, enjoy the journey and then make up their minds and opinions after finishing the seasons or entire show... It is a bit like ppl are actively looking for dissapointments and that leads to disregarding and overlooking things that are all part of painting a bigger more complete picture of both the lore, characters and story arcs... I don't get the eagernes to find small things out of coontext just to feel negative about spending time being told an epic story.... When my grandad told me adventures and fairytales he made up on the spot I never once stopped him to tell him that one of his ideas was stupid.... I was just thrilled to find out where it all would lead to in the end! Its the same in life: A flat tire can lead to amazing adventures and new friendships and possibilities you never saw coming.... if you don't let the fact that someone dropped a nail ruin the rest of the day and act like a sour grape noone wants to be around....... Personally I love all of star wars. -sure there are things I find more cool than others and characters I like and don't like... But I am allways ready to have my mind changed as the story unfolds. The purgils was one of the things I was most curious about when I first watched rebels.... I could just feel there was so much focus on them that I felt like there must have been a point to it. (Knowing this reaction is 5 months old here comes the spoilers!) and they did. I cant wait to see if we get more of them in live action in the Ashoka series; Just the short glimpse of them in Mandalorian made me squeel! Hondo really seems to have connected strongly with Ezra. It's both hilarious and cute.

Does anyone else feel like the plot of the last episode was actually really close to the plot of Avatar - way of water 🐋😅

Going by Star Wars RPG Books: A small freighter (like Millenium Falcon or Ghost) would cost ~200 thousands credits Common meal would cost 15 credits Lodging for one day is 100 credits Thus, the sale of a light freighter would provide the equivalent of 2,000 hotel nights or meals for 1,480 days. So a light freighter would be worth nearly $270,000 in USD, not a lot comparing to prices of luxury yachts in our world

I don't know what composer they brought in for the music as they're travelling through the imploded star cluster but they deserve a raise

He was working on a western tv show and this show at the same time. He also did the music for Clone Wars.

Some of theese comments are 5 months old... Did the members seriously get a 5 month headstart on the rest of us poor sobs? Thats a crazy time gap.... -But I assume it is because Holden has uploaded to memebers shortly after watching and then decided to wait with public realease until Jen gave birth....?!

I don't like the episode where Zeb leads the Lasat to their new home world. But the other two are a lot of fun for me.
