He got kidnapped and trapped in a toxic world for about a week, got back and was frequently haunted by that same world, possessed, and due to the connection felt the pain of being burned alive from the inside several times, before being literally burned in order to get the creature out of him. She did say that El was her favorite character, so it makes sense. I don't think this plotline is bad, it just didn't fit into the main plot of the season. I think it would've been much better to make a miniseries out of El finding Kali, and them teaming up to hunt the Hawkins Lab workers, but that's just me. What do you think? Who knows, maybe Kali will pop up again in season 4? (I'm waiting for Volume 2 to come out so I can binge all of season 4 at once, so PLEASE don't spoil Volume 1 for me.)

This season kinda made me realise how easy it would be to beat the upside down monsters with an actual military. Hopper shooting demodogs left and right kinda makes you go "wait, this is basically an 'army' of 40-something bobcats that cant break through a normal door".

@@scrrin Thats a good question. Im not completely sure. Though we do know bullets penetrate the body of these guys and it does seem like they go limp and fall of because of that. Also actual bullet impacts dont make you go flying off so i imagine if it didnt hurt them they souldnt just fall easily. But its possible.

The biggest issue with the Kali episode is their failure to show more of those characters throughout. They literally showed them in episode one and then gave the audience nothing. We should have been given a bit more to make that episode a little less jarring.

I feel the story telling of stranger things is like solving a puzzle, every time we see the cast group-up into smaller groups and grasping and trying to decipher and solve the puzzle and then towards the end they group up to assemble their parts of the puzzle and finish it. Then in the finale (in the last scene basically) we see that the puzzle is solved from their (the cast's) perspective but if we zoom out the puzzle a little bit, the puzzle is still not complete/solved and thats the ending of a season of stranger things, and then next season the cast realizes that and try to solve the puzzle so that when zoomed out the puzzle still is solved but then again when further zoomed out the puzzle is still not solved and on and on etc

Episode 7 is so emotionally packed and complex I love it so much, I feel like people disappreciate it because of where it was put (right after a cliffhanger, so they got frustrated). Kali and Eleven have a bond and that is trauma, and both of them deserve to heal from it. Yes, *even Kali*

I actually liked season 2 more than season 3 cuz Joyce is my favorite character on the show and she really shined in the first 2 seasons more than in season 3. The current season is the best though imo, so the best is still yet to come. I loved Joyce's exorcism strategy, "get the hell out of my son!!!" lol!

Stranger Things S3 is a different vibe than 1 & 2. A lot of people didn't like S3 as much as the rest. But it introduces an amazing setting, one of my favorite characters, brings back a favorite into a full role, and establishes my favorite friendship. It also brought my favorite cosplay. Definitely, each episode is like an hour long. And the last few are basically movies. We’d be missing too many important plot points for it to be as accurate. That being said, I really love this series.

It was either an article I read or an interview I watched...but somewhere along the line I learned that the Duffer Bros. had not planned to go very long or graphic with Bob's death because they knew fans would like him and hate to see it, but Sean Austin convinced them to make it more bloody and more traumatic. He felt it was important for the horror impact.

Holden, the Duffer brother changed Wills birthday recently to May 11. If you notice I’m season 4 at the dollar skate rink it’s March 22 and everyone noticed it (fans). It means they all ignored his birthday! It was an accident so the Duffer bros went back and changed the audio so Ms Byers now says May 22. I wish they had just left the error.

I KNEW/HOPED JEN WOULD LIKE “THE LOST SISTER”!!! She totally gets it. I love it, too! It might be my favorite episode of S2 (other than The Mind Flayer) and definitely one of my favorite episodes of the whole show lol. 🙃 Kali is a favorite character of mine as well. Always makes me happy to see other people who enjoy, understand and appreciate the episode. I think Jen benefitted from taking a break between Episodes 6 + 7. Everyone who binged the season took issue with the placement of the episode. I’ve personally never been bothered by it and Season 2 is still easily my favorite season. Mainly for the character development, as Jen mentioned. It’s just so good all around. So much important stuff transpired in this season, but so many people downplay S2 and rank it last, as if it didn’t contribute much to the show. I’d argue it’s the most crucial season, especially when you consider the direction the show has gone since. 12:33 Also omg, the Titanic reference!!! Yesssss! 😂 My favorite movie of all time. I thought of Old Rose’s quote immediately lol. If you somehow know anyone who hasn’t seen that movie, you should definitely have them react to it on here. First time Titanic reactions are always interesting because it’s so rare to find someone who hasn’t seen it yet lol.
