Dear sir, you are in the top 1% of all doctors as you are not repeating the same mumbo jumbo that the other doctors repeat to patients. You describe the actual problem with precision and helpful insight. I have had x-rays on painful knees and actually have great spacing between knee bones (excellent cartilage) but still bone spurs persist. The doctors could not explain sufficiently why. You have done a remarkable in this video. It always helps to hear it from an expert! Very deep thank you!!!

I suffered through severe back and hip pain for 4 years to the point it hurt to move or do anything. I saw literally dozens of doctors and went through various procedures and treatments but NONE of them gave any respite from the pain. When I first heard of prolotherapy and Dr Hauser, I thought it was unusual and I thought he was a little eccentric, but I flew from Utah to Chicago to see him anyway. The difference in the results from other doctors was like night and day. I noticed a significant difference is immediately and my recovery was nearly complete within a couple of months. Over 7 years later, I am still in great shape, running, cycling, playing basketball and doing very physical work with no pain. I can't say enough good or give a high enough recommendation.

Thank you Sir that was very informative and helpful. I have lose body cartilage in my left knee & a torn meniscus in my right knee. Basically what I gather from this session was if you can manage it , don’t conduct Surgery. So for I have managed both injuries quite well, I was considering Surgery before but after watching this video I’m sure I won’t have surgery 🙏.

I was told on my followup for my lumbar xray last week that they have never seen such a bad back at my age(32). I have bad bone spurs at the L5-S1 region, bad enough that they cant guarantee ill be able to walk in a few years. Have had back problems since i was 10 years old due to fracturing my "butt bone" at school. I did physiotherapy 2 years ago and they also said it wouldnt change much because the damage is done and too severe. My doctor spoke about surgery but even he is a bit skeptic with the risks involved so i decided maybe its best to just wait and see and do what i can in the meantime.

I have mild subacromial spurring in both shoulders. I wonder how long recovery is after doing guided ultrasound with needle unless there is better therapy for this condition. Have had this for close to 5 years and took that long to get a good xray done. I only knew what I had because a doctor in Mexico gave me my diagnosis but all doctors in US told me I was fine. Did not continue treatment in Mexico because of the hassle of having to go there but still waiting to see if I ever get treated for this condition. Worst thing to have in shoulders.

I have a hip bone spur (on the femur ball) and train mixed martial arts (Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu). Both sports require a lot of hip mobility but Muay Thai kicks put the most strain on my bone spur, which usually leaves me in pain and unable to train for a few weeks due to injury. I love Muay Thai and would love to be able to kick with out pain. Is there any hope for me? Should I consider surgery?

I don't have any lose bodies in my elbow, however this is an old fracture that has always caused griding, I had arthroscopic surgery in my 20s, now I will need arthroscopic surgery again to remove spurs that are casuing me more griding, and pain. The spurs can actaully damage the cartilage and for that reason arthroscopic sugery can also be advised, followed by PRP inyection to the joint.

Thank you for this informative discussion about loose bodies at the end of the video you indicated if they’re getting caught and you have to kind of wiggle your leg and need to dislodge them. Or could an orthopedic medical massage or prolotherapy injections break them down without surgery?

@@bneshan1264Good to hear you are doing well, but are you able to fully squat down? I ask because I can walk and all feels good, but when I forget about the loose bit and bend my left knee too much it shifts to an extremely painful spot, so to alleviate this I need to stop sit on the floor and slowly straighten the leg for the piece to shift back, then good to go again. I'm not sure if I should get it removed.

@@thrust_fpv exactly my situation - what I did was a couple years ago I had arthroscopic surgery and the surgeon removed about 20 loose bodies, but he couldn’t get them all. He left five behind and those occasionally now give me trouble if I jump or I do plyometrics - even squats I gotta be careful too, and it’s such an annoying thing. It catches you offguard and it’s horrible so you have two options you can either have them surgically removed arthroscopic or just modify your movements to avoid actions that trigger them Oh, and I just thought the only other thing that I have done that may have helped my situation - I had a few shockwave therapy treatments to the knee area at a local physical therapy center and I have to say I’m not sure if there’s any correlation but I seem to be doing better, just throwing it out there

Hi linchou69, great question! Each case is unique so to best answer your question, we would need to review your case & imaging, as well as see you in the office for a physical exam and motion ultrasound to determine if Prolotherapy can help stabilize the joint and stop the body from continuing the degenerative processes of swelling and growing bone spurs (as these are 2 of the mechanisms the body uses to try and stabilize an unstable joint). If you would like our team to review your case and see you for an evaluation for potential non-surgical options, please reach out to us at info@caringmedical.com or call us at 239-308-4773. Hi Babu Raj, Thank you for your question. We do not advise medication for bone spurs because having bone spurs is not indicative of a medication deficiency. In our clinics, the goal is to actually resolve the reason for pain and bone spur development and help patients get off medications. What we do is regenerative injection treatments (Prolotherapy) for these degenerative conditions. One of the primary areas we specialize in treating is the neck. If you would like our team to review your case more closely to see if you sound like a good candidate for our treatments, please feel free to reach out to us directly through our website or email. As much as we would love to give you a clear and cut answer, we cannot without first seeing you in our office for testing to get a proper diagnosis. @CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry about the bone spur. The overgrowth of bone is indicative of joint instability. It is one way the body basically tries to stabilize or fuse bones so they stop moving excessively during the demands that they're put under. Thus, putting more stress on the unstable joint isn't recommended as it continues the joint instability cycle until the joint is in a healing mode. Bone spurs are not a muscle problem- they are the body's way of trying to stabilize a joint that is unstable due to ligament laxity. The ligaments are what hold our bones together. Muscles are only supposed to move the joint but they need to contract against a stable base. When they don't, that indicates there is ligament laxity/joint instability. This is where regenerative treatments come in versus surgery. We understand it is not possible for everyone to travel to come see us. Perhaps you'd be able to find a regional practitioner who could help your elbow. Hope that explanation helps clarify why bone spurs form and that they are not linked to the muscles. The link is with the ligaments. Wish you all the best in health. Take good care.

Hi Jack, Hope you get back to where you want to be asap and that your prolotherapist is able to address what they think the outcome will be for your shoulder. Usually the bone spur is there because the body was growing it to try and stabilize the joint and they stay unless removed. In most of the cases we see, the person's pain can be resolved without needing to have a bone spur removed and that's where the prolotherapist would need to assess your overall motion, etc. to see what they think. Wish you all the best in healing!

@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy I understand that you're saying the pain could be resolved w/o having the bone spur removed surgically, but in the video, you mentioned that over time, once the joint is stabilized (via prolotherapy), that the body could reabsorb the bone spur since the joint doesn't have the friction anymore. So are you now saying the body won't absorb the bone spur ever, and surgery would eventually be needed to remove them? I'd love to hear more about the success rate for any patients of yours where their bone spurs were reabsorbed.

I have a Tricep Tendon Enthesophyte will it go away ?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Жыл бұрын
Hi @johngutierrez8405 , the enthesis is the point at which the connective tissue structures, such as a joint capsule, fascia, ligament, tendon, or muscle attach to the bone. The term enthesopathy typically refers to a degenerated enthesis. It is unlikely that it just goes away forever. Think of your ligaments like a rubber band. During normal use, ligaments gradually stretch when under tension, then return to their original length when the force is released. However, when they stretch too far or too long, they do not return to their original shape and remain stretched-out or loose - this is where Prolotherapy can be a great treatment option as it promotes the growth of normal cells and tissues. Hope this helps! If you need assistance in the future, our office is accepting new patients and you can contact us directly.

Hi Yall gonemadd- Prolotherapy is the regenerative injection treatment that stimulates degenerated/torn/weak joint tissue to repair. Unfortunately, I have several large bone spurs in my ankle. How effective is the needle spur ectomy, especially with the ankle joint?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Daimion, Thank you for your question and sorry to hear about your large bone spurs. In our experience, the bone spurs may be a surgical case, or sometimes a needle spurectomy, but more importantly we find that the REASON for the bone spur development needs to be addressed in order to make an impact against the accelerated degeneration. Bone spurs form as the body's way of trying to stabilize an unstable joint. Thus, just shaving bone spurs does not get to the root of the problem. The joint continues to degenerate. Thus, strengthening the stabilizers which have a lot of nerve endings (ligaments) of the joint is the primary goal and bone spur removal would be only as needed in a case-by-case basis. Hope that helps. If you would like us to review your case and see if you sound like a good candidate for our clinics, we would love to see if we can help you avoid a surgery and get out of pain and back to full function. Feel free to reach out to us directly through our website, email, or phone. Take care for now.

@Caring Medical Regenerative Medicine Clinics, thank you so much for your response. I had a osteophytectomy and debridement with an open and arthroscopic surgery for my ankle, but it came back bigger and wider on my talus and distal end of my tibia. Therefore, I am limited with dorsiflexion and activities. Have you experienced a cases similar to mine? Overall, how is your success rate?

@@daimiongolding381 Yes, we've helped patients who had poor range of motion but that is a factor to be considered with the potential when deciding on any treatment. We'd need to do a physical exam and perhaps ultrasound the ankle to really know. The initial exam is very important in determining the best course of treatment.

Hi Kallie, Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear that happened. You may have already checked out some of our other videos on exactly the symptoms that you have mentioned here. To us, they do not sound absurd at all and are very normal for us to see in patients at our neck center, and what you've said about it occurring after an adjustment makes sense to us as well. We have a shorter video that discusses difficulty swallowing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYOQgpKDnLqAjqc as well as longer webinars on impaired vagus nerve function and obstructed blood flow to/from the brain due to cervical instability: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGjTp5KMjpKbfLM Hope these help in any way if you're looking to do a deep dive on the topics. If you feel that you would like our team to possibly help you at our center in the future, you are welcome to reach out to us directly. Wish you all the best in healing!

I have a loose cartilage that is free floating around my knee joint. Whenever I feel a little discomfort and notice the cartilage is somewhere around my pattela I literally push the cartilage with my fingers and lock it next to (maybe even behind) my fibula. It doesn't hurt when I do that and I can freely bend my knee, do squats and run with it after (Basically no problems). Should I keep doing that each time the cartilage loosens up again which happens very rarely or do I keep it in my joint and let it smash up on its own?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 11 ай бұрын
It would be smart to get an exam. Let's first ask the question, how does this occur? Most likely the person experienced the gradual deterioration of cartilage from poor tracking of the patella on the femur, and eventually, some of the cartilage particles became loose and went into the joint. The thing with instability is that it is degenerative, it happens overtime and the longer you go without gaining stability, the worse it will get until surgery would be the only option. We would love to get you in for an exam and consult - please reach out to us directly and someone from our clinical team (they are wonderful) can learn more about your case. Dr. Hauser has written an article on this topic, if you'd like to take a look www.caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/arthroscopy-loose-bodies-knee/#:~:text=What%20this%20means%20is%20the,and%20went%20into%20the%20joint.

Fantastic video/content once again. I did not realize you could have prolo therapy for such conditions. By God's grace money will become available and I can send my partner there or to another practice here in the UK. My partner is in so much pain. He got the results from another MRI the other week. He has bone spurs, a bulged disc, disc degeneration spondylosis, and a 20% curve on his spine. At his t3/t4 They said it would be super risky if they operated due to the existing damage. 'I have just started the process of castor oil and taking apple cider vinegar, let alone other herbal supplements, to help reduce the inflammation and God willing break down the bone spurs.
