Hi everyone. I have a bone spur in my lower back and the doctor that I went to is a surgeon and he wants to do is grind that spur off. It’s still back surgery. What my primary doctor should have done rather than send me to him, is to tell me that my posture is causing bones spurs, and I need to correct my posture and do back strengthening exercise. The surgeon that I went to. he should’ve also said that, but of course he wants money to cut on me.I am so thrilled to know that you can do exercises or natural remedies to decrease these bone spurs, thank you very much.

I hurt sometimes for years. I first noticed some vertigo like symptom and saw my MD with test and was treated. After a year I noticed numbness on fingers and hand constantly. It be worse and both arms before I saw spine orthopedic total of 4 doctors. Be very selective for some grinds out none and it it nicks spinal cord your done The newer system is ultrasonic bone knife It cannot cut nerves or spinal cord So do your research on doctors and donot wait to long or you may never get the damaged nerves to wake up. Dr. C. Donnelly is who I used to

My problem became worse because X-rays did not show spurs. MRI did and after research and meeting 4 doctors. I chose minimal invasive and a doctor who uses ultrasonic bone knife. It will not cut nerves or spinal cord. Only bone! Do your research on doctors and ask questions of exactly what they plan to do and how in detail. I used dr. Chester Donnelly after I waited and both hands and arm were numb and some nerve damage. Do not wait to long. In

Thx for the info! To combat this i am making strength training (lift weights) with a physiotherapist. The idea is to align my cervical and all my spine by strengthening the back and stretching the pectoral muscles. After one week my neck stopped cracking and i feel i walk taller. In the MRI my cervical discs were all black and a disc wants to connect to another. I am not letting that happening with 36yo. No no! 💪 no ego lift gym but good form is going to be for life

Can bone spurs in my neck cause my entire arm / hand to fall asleep and become excruciatingly painful when I sleep? This happens to me every night and I know I have them in my neck via X-rays. And I have a rolled shoulder if that causes/adds to anything.

Any way I usually have to lay almost flat and take a Xanax and get prayer. I feel a lot of heat, sometimes I feel electric and numbing and mostly pain. The heat and tingles go down my spine. i have bone spurs in my neck too and they are big & sharp. no doctor can tell me what i can do for the pain. i take tylenol 3 when i can get my doc to give them to me and they truly help me as long as i am careful with how often i take them because they will lose the affect for pain. i have been taking ty3 for forty years off and on and have no addiction to them. i also take 100 mg ibuprofen most days. my pain is constant like you, absolute rest is the ONLY thing that helps...but i have to work. it's bad enough that it hurts but sometimes i scream in pain even by just moving around. i don't know how much longer i can live with this...the pain is unbearable... i won't do surgery and i have tried all the injections & therapy with no results except an empty bank account...good luck to you!! i hope you get better...

@@lancegough8390 None of what i used were commercial brands per se. I used thyme essential oil to rub on (it can stain some fabrics) using a variety of (australian) brands - And the thyme tea (to reduce all calcification in body) was a mixture of fresh thyme (when i could get it) and dried thyme - I would make 3 / 4 day batches of the thyme tea by boiling a litre of water, putting in half a bunch of fresh thyme (or half a cup of dried) - bring back to the boil and turn off and let steep.. strain and refrigerate and drink over 4 days.

My X ray said Minimal merginal osteophytes noted in cervical vertebrae. Is it dangerous?
@ScoliosisReductionCenter
@ScoliosisReductionCenter 10 ай бұрын
Minimal marginal osteophytes in your cervical vertebrae likely aren't dangerous by themselves. Osteophytes are common: They're essentially bone spurs, which are bony growths that develop along the edges of bones, including vertebrae. They're a frequent occurrence, especially with age-related wear and tear. Minimal means small: "Minimal" indicates the osteophytes are very small and unlikely to cause any problems. However, while minimal osteophytes themselves might not be dangerous, they can be a sign of an underlying condition

Thank you for this informative video. I recently found out what is behind the numbness, tingling, and pain that radiates from my cervical region all the way down to my fingertips. I’m in pain everyday. 😢 I’ve been doing my own research. I would like to uncover more treatment options or ways to aid the body in creating osteoclastic activity. I am now receiving PT treatments. I have Chronic Pain in my neck and CT Scan showed bone spurs on c6 and c7. It's been 5 weeks and it's getting worse but doctors won't refer me to anyone. I've been doing hot and cold and even got put on muscle relaxers so I can try physical therapy movement.....I hate doctors in real life. I wish they all talked like this when you're actually a patient of theirs. Sadly most are ego a$$holes.

Doc, What about someone who has cervical herniated discs at the C5 and C6 level and experiences dizziness, nausea, sweating that last up to an hour and a half while laying down on a bed or chair and moving their chin up, faced up ? Previously these herniated discs were causing impingement years ago on the dura matter of the spinal cord, but over the years they shrunk in size apparently because they pulled away from the spinal cord. They are reporting them as " dessicated " discs on the MRI reports. Could these symptoms be due to impingement or a bone spur? Previously they were causing electric shocks to go down both arms and trunk as soon as the chin was raised up when they were impinging on the spinal cord. Thank you.

I hope cartilage regeneration is possible in our lifetime. Bone rubbing on bone has a cascade effect.

I am not sure that is true. It is my understanding that the bone spurs are there because of abnormal force loads and if the correct curve and force loads are corrected the body no longer needs them because the body is intelligent.

I’ve found that ONLY RFN pain procedures help best… these can last anywhere up to 12 - 24 months👍 …. manipulating the painful areas can make the pain worse
