I loved your honesty about how we sometimes don't feel like getting our supplies out and creating. Its Okay to have periods of rest, then when we get back to it we feel excited and energized and sometimes create our best work! I can't always spend as much time as I like in my studio because I have many responsibilities at home and in community service. However, I love creating and I always have something fun to work on tucked into my tote bag so if I"m at the doctor, or eating lunch alone, or waiting at the airport for my husband, I have something to do!! I adore brush lettering so adding a few brush markers and a sketch book to my tote bag is an ideal way for me to be creative on the go! I'm over the moon excited to be enrolled in Wanderlust!! I'm ready to learn more mixed media techniques from the amazing teachers you have lined up for us!!

Love your honesty Kasia, I have tried doing daily journals, mostly written, in the past; and become very disheartened when I fall behind. i need to be more like you and celebrate the success! Can’t wait to start Wanderlust 2018. Thank you for all your inspiration. Xx

Kasia, I certainly can relate. So lucky we can download the Wanderlust videos in my personal "Art" external hard drive to review techniques and catch up on projects.

I love your haircut in this video, Kasia! Your "simple" journal is very inspiring and the idea of leaving it open so that in a single moment you can do even a little bit is a great idea. My resolution is to journal more but I'm not committing to 365 days! LOL

Holy Moly! What a great video and EXACTLY what I need to see and hear. I just started art journaling this Feb and I'm so addicted. I'm part of a FB group on art journaling for beginners and i have also learned so much from them. I hope you don't mine if I copy and paste your video to share with the group. You addressed many of our concerns and commits we have in the group. Fear of ruining a page/book. How do we start? White pages are scary. How do I find time to do this? what supplies should we use? The use of BLACK. Lis Oxley is one of the mentors of the group and she using black all the time. Each time I see her start to use it I think NO!! Don't use Black..and each time it is beautiful. So thanks for your honesty and opening up your soul with your beautiful book. I can't wait to see this years 2018 journal from you. Keep inspiring us sweet lady..PS I love the community of art journaling. What great people!! SO willing to share their success and failures. All the best, Jennifer

Kasia, I think you had good reason not to stick to your resolution but I am pleased that you still committed to it when you had the energy. Congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter. Do you think in the future you will use some mixed media with your baby's photographs? I am a scrapbooker and love seeing photos mixed with mixed media art. I too love your honesty.

Hi Helen! Thank you for your comment! Yes, I am already using Zosia's photos in my art journal pages. They just feel very important so I really like to include them. I used to do quite a lot of scrapbooking but then started using more and more mixed-media techniques so I think this is where my love to family photos comes from :)

Love your energy. Really enjoyed your perspective. It's good to encourage ourselves to create more, but it's also helpful to stay kind to ourselves when life intervenes. Just signed up for Wanderlust and I'm excited to start my art journaling journey.

Hello Kasia, I made a resolution to create 365 somethings in 2018 (#365somethings2018) it doesn't have to be every single day, just to create 365 things, and that is better for me because I can not create every single day because of life,I decided to create 365 Icads and on the back i will be writing every day what I am gratful for. I am curious how your resolution will work out this year, because having a baby is also very timeconsuming and energy absorbing as you probably already have experienced. And of course i subscribed to your channel.Vicky
