My ZR1 IS BACK AT THE DEALERSHIP AND I HOPE ITS NOT SERIOUS....

I had to take my new ZR1 back to the dealership because when I tried to do a pull it would not shift on its own, I had to help it with the paddle shifters. Also, the car would not pull in lower gears like it had a huge power loss. I am hopping its nothing major.

Congrats on 20k man! Definitely well deserved and earned the right way. I hope they get the ZR1 figured out quickly. Hopefully the transmission just needs to be reflashed / reset. I've heard of others doing this to fix hard shifts and other random issues with the A8. Keep us posted 👍🏻

Good luck with Service. It sounds as if the computer has the engine power backed off because of the way the transmission was behaving. Hopefully, it's nothing big. My transmission did some funky things for the first couple hundred miles but settled down after about 350 miles and has been like a rock since then. We visited Spring Mountain in February (just to check it out), the place is done right!!!!. It's everything you'd want to learn about your car, everything you'd want in a racetrack, everything you'd want in a resort and the people there are incredibly knowledgeable and nice. I'm heading there early September. I can't wait. Let us know what they find with your car.

Hy Chuck its probably something very minor. I had a problem with a new car it would stop momentarily at times. Never could figure it out. One day while under the hood while engine was running I was feeling some of the electrical connection and it stopped . One of the connection was plugged in but it wasn't locked. Something very simple wasn't locked from the. factories. Fearlis will b just fine.

Corvettes 918 thanks chuck I sure am having a blast as I made the dumbest mistake yesterday for a newbie to own a corvette. Never in a million years would I have thought I’d done this. I got home and put the top back on and forgot to lock the latches. Went out to get food and the wind caught it at a certain angle so the top flew off and got all scratched up. Luckily it didn’t crack but if you know any good place that do a really good job at vinyl wrapping I’d greatly appreciate it. It’s a carbon fiber top so for the mean time I think best thing to do is get it wrapped. What do you think?

Sweet! The Camaro ss 1LE is awesome! just bought one myself... Traded in my procharged c7 3 weeks ago... Long story... The 1le handles so friken good it's almost unbelievable. I love your channel, I had a 2008 Zo6, My current love is the vehicle that pulled the vet, Ford F250 Super Duty FIRE engine red. recently i also got a code 0088 Its the code for High Pressure fuel pump. 3000$ potential problem Its a Diesel .. The reason i bring this up, The Code was cleared and i can have my Truck back for 100$ I will need to watch it , bUT Yea baby. I wish this result for you. my truck is 10yrs old and it really bothers me for it to be some where else. Your car cannot be in valet mode at the dealer to program or check it out they will call you and ask you for the code now to shut it off they should have told you that

Yep! They won’t know why? GM doesn’t either.... drive it till it breaks... lol. I had the same issue, basically front computer loses communication to rear transmission computer. They will flash it again and it will have to learn you all over again. (Happened twice, locked in gear the first time)

I hope its a software issue. I decided to keep the body color mirrors. didn't want them tearing the whole inside door panel off to get to the mirrors. May wrap them in the future carbon but for now they are growing on me.

Hey Chuck Don't worry at all. GM will do whatever it takes to get your car right. Being the ambassador you are for Corvettes they'll do a fine job. Modern electronics. I bet a software issue... Thanks for sharing.
