Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross uses an electronically-controlled 4WD system that feeds the optimum amount of torque to the rear wheels as required by the driving situation and surface conditions. MMC's Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) integrated vehicle dynamics control system incorporates brake-activated AYC.
The addition of a 3-point strut tower brace at the front and the strategic use of structural bonding at the rear in particular have increased body rigidity. The tougher body and detail optimization of the suspension offer precise handling and superior vehicle stability.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers two powertrains that do full justice to a stylish SUV coupe in delivering the right balance of power and environmental performance. The new 1.5L direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine is mated to a new CVT with 8-speed Sport Mode manual override. The 2.2L common rail direct-injection turbocharged diesel engine modified specifically for Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Both powertrain combinations offer the driver brisk driving experience.

Downsized for efficiency and turbocharged for powerful torque at low-to-mid rpm, the newly developed engine puts instant acceleration at your command. This highly responsive performance was made possible by direct fuel injection, an exhaust manifold-integrated cylinder head, sodium-filled exhaust valves, MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system) and more.
2.0L MIVEC GASOLINE ENGINE
The 2.0-liter engine delivers exciting response from low to high rpm thanks to the optimized valve timing of advanced MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system) technology.
INVECS-III CVT AND 6 MT
The advanced CVT supports smooth, powerful acceleration and outstanding fuel efficiency. It teams new step shift control with the 1.5-liter engine, for a highly satisfying sensation of shifting gears, and standard step up shift control with the 2.0-liter engine. A new lightweight 6-speed manual transmission is also available with the 1.5-liter engine.
S - AWC " You can run any way without worry.
Indeed, the newly developed 1.5 L direct-injection turbo engine has good accelerator response, light handling traces the line as expected. Even those who self-name four-wheel drive are commonly concerned with accelerator work and braking on twisty muddy grounds and snowy roads, but the biggest feature of this car is that you steer a handle in the direction you want to proceed , As long as you step on the accelerator, the car will do the torque distribution and braking yourself, so you can run without anxiety. This is thanks to "S-AWC". In addition, advanced safety equipments such as collision damage mitigation brake and lane departure warning are also substantial, and it is equipped with radar cruise control which is indispensable at long drive, so to accelerate, decelerate and stop the car running in front It will automatically follow up. It is also appreciated that driving fatigue is considerably reduced.
S-AWC raises your confidence on any road by combining electronically controlled 4WD with Mitsubishi Motors' proprietary Active Yaw Control (AYC), which uses braking to optimally distribute torque to the left and right wheels. Even if you unintentionally brake or accelerate too hard around a snowcovered turn, you can maintain control without extra steering effort because S-AWC adjusts braking and coupling in the rear differential to improve vehicle performance. An indicator in the instrument panel keeps you informed of S-AWC status. You can choose the AUTO, SNOW or GRAVEL drive mode depending on road conditions to enhance turning accuracy, straight-line stability and maneuverability on slippery roads.
Driver's seat & passenger seat SRS airbag, driver's seat SRS knee airbag, SRS side airbag, SRS curtain airbag, all seven airbags are equipped as standard equipment to increase safety.
MMC's DYNAMIC SHIELD front design concept refers to the protective shield shape visually formed by the black central area represented by a black radiator grille that symbolizes the performance of the car. The black area is embraced from three directions - from the left, right, and bottom. DYNAMIC SHIELD emphasizes the front end's functionalities aimed at protecting both people and the car itself.

@Удаляю Не идёт its brilliant. Drives really well. Its not a speedy racer but great road handling and so many cool features. Go for the higher spec models. I've got the 4WD Dynamic CVT Auto. Works for me. But do your research there are higher specs like the Exceed CVT with dual sun roof. Nice car and looks great especially the Red Diamond colour. Thats what I got.. Good luck if you decide.
