Before discovering MCR (along with modern rock), I pretty much listened exclusively to older music (50s-90s). This along with Teenagers were the first MCR songs I heard, and when I got deep into liking the band, I had really bad mental health issues, and I used to cut and try to end it all. Yea, honestly I never give 2 fs abt the lyrics of songs, for me the song's meaning is always carried through the melody. Music is language less and you don't need words to convey emotion. Putting that aside this song reads like a goddamn poem. Under every song you can find someone calling it a masterpiece mainly cuz of personal preference but this is like a legit one
