Agreed with all the rules. In my early twentied I always kept in mind the choose 1 of 2 rule. Mainly because I was working in an office and wanted to avoid my manager telling me off haha. Also regarding the nail color i totally agree thay we should match, however my rule is, if I put a bright color on my toes but doesn’t want to put on my fingernaols, then I paint them to a nude color ☺️ I think it still looks put together ☺️ What do you think Myka?

It's funny how many people say I look put together when really all I do in the summer is roll out of bed and put on a linen dress with sandals, straw hat, and oversized sunglasses. Myka I just love all your content! I did the Duchess course online and have the Etiquette book and the business book is still making it’s way to Australia! I do have a question about the clothing styles - maybe an idea for a future video! I have a very curvy natural hour glass figure. I have great legs and a small enough waste but am extremely (naturally) curvy on top. The dress styles you showed never work on me. The loose flowy style makes me look pregnant or huge and enormous! I am always looking for ways to dress my shape elegantly and not like I am trying to show of my chest. Could you give some tips for chic dressing for different body shapes and styles? This is a very late answer to your question, but I would suggest a wrap dress with a kimono sleeve. The best example of this style is a sewing pattern called the Closet Core Elodie dress. Look for photos of this sewn up. It is beautiful on all body types.

That’s funny, my rule is: pick one of three, short, body-con or low-cut! My low-cut isn’t very low, either, I never show a lot of cleavage, just a hint. When traveling, it’s best to keep clothes slightly more conservative, expectations differ from culture to culture. I like a higher neckline, too, because no matter what sunscreen I put on, my upper chest and neck always get sunburned if I’m out all day. I carry a white linen scarf, too, for additional coverage, if necessary, without overheating.

It’s tough to look good in the summer where I live, it’s often over 100F in the shade. Linen is a must, I know it gets wrinkled, but I iron it carefully before putting it on, it helps a bit. Others will recognize and understand linen, they are probably wearing it themselves. Linen and viscose blends are great, too, just as cool and breathable, and more wrinkle-resistant.

I use a product called Creme of Nature Argon Oil- it's like a little paste that comes in an orange container for $6 at drugstores and is perfect for keeping frizzies back but only use a TINY bit! I also get keratin treatments. Thanks so much for watching!

I pack three hangers: one skirt/trouser and two velvet ones, so that I always have hangers to steam my next day’s outfit, pants/skirt, top, and jacket. I do them before going for dinner, so they are ready for the morning and I don’t have to do it when I’m tired (steaming clothes right before wearing makes them crease, they have to dry out first). Sometimes hotels only have those hookless hangers, and the steamer cord can’t reach the closet, no skirt hanger, or just not enough hangers for three items.

Yes, very useful. Great tips. Where I live in Canada we are finally getting out of self-isolation. However, we must wear masks and gloves when we leave home. I have not polished my nails at all and don't intend to since I need to wear gloves. I find earrings bigger than a stud very annoying with my mask. Since I must wear a mask I don't wear any lipstick or gloss. What make-up suggestions would work for enhancing the eyes. Also, I have not had my hair cut or my brows done but would like my eyes to stand out. Thanks for a great video.

Myka, I have always dressed to impress until now. I moved from California to NC & discovered I am allergic to everything. After multiple courses of prednisone, I am now overweight. I fill frumpy and dumpy. I also have severe swelling issues. How do I dress to cover my stomach and butt? If I accidentally eat something with gluten, my stomach swells so big I look pregnant.
