Nice install, but I really would like to know the type and size of those batteries seen in the video, Is the larger one used to start the outboard and the smaller one used for all other components ???

That's correct, there is a 50AH Lithium (amzn.to/3PFroUw) and a smaller AGM battery (amzn.to/44A5rdC) for cranking. Just make sure the CCA matches what your motor needs. This video here dives into the battery setup in detail: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXKthpVpidpqr9k

The Velcro was a great idea! Better option for the hose is smooth bore bilge tubing, it can be bought by the foot at west marine and a few other places...it's super flexible and doesn't kink. That corrugated tubing actually limits pumping volume. Cool video man, keep up the great work, the boat is looking awesome.

Good call, I wish I had a west marine near by -- it was a pain trying to find a good hose. I tried some from amazon but it was so stiff when I tried to straighten it split right in half.

@@mvboutdoors you can buy online...just a thought. Hey, also...it's really cool that you're so interactive with your followers. Keep that up.

I've spent the last 3 days watching Both your boat builds. I've learned a lot. One thing in particular is a need for a pos+ and neg - buss bar. The builds are very nice, however the filming and narrations are excellent. Thanks for sharing and all the hard work in producing 2 great series. " Best-Fishes" from the mountains of NC. Going back and thumbing up all the videos and subscribed. 👍

You are 100% correct, bus bars are definitely something I needed to do. Appreciate the feedback on the videos, I'm glad you found them helpful!

I would have used a through the hull fitting. A lot neater looking. I believe that Bass Tracker installs them that way from the factory. At least mine did. But I bought it used. AndI believe that most bilge pumps have a test button on them so you don't have to remove them.

Yeah that would definitely look a lot neater, I agree. I really like the bilges that have test buttons, not all do but they sure make it easier to make sure things are working right.

Hey MVB, can you possibly add to the end of each video the total cost for each project you do? Like with adding storage under your seats in the last video. How much total the project cost. And at the end of the build can you do a full breakdown of cost?

complete waste of time watching....i wanted to see how to wire it up??????????????????? omg where is the fuse..? the busbar..???? with the fish finder..omg
@NavyuncleАй бұрын
You have to install an inline fuse. Or if you are wiring it to a fuse box use the recommended fuse there.
