Very cute and practical little trailer! We bought one at the Hershey Show! However, we are having the bunks switched to a dinette with more storage above. We are a retired couple that does a lot of rail-fan hopping. This trailer will be great for the quick packing and very short stays from place to place. Plus, no need for us to get a bigger vehicle. (midsize Ford Ranger with tow pkg.) Has everything on our basic needs list and with a little easy tweaking, it will be perfect for us. The price was also great. Cannot wait to pick her up at our local Blue Compass in Oct.! 🙂 Also, a shout out to Sam, Tyler and RJ for making the process easier.

Overall, I like this RV for what it is. That being said, it INFURIATES me that so many RV manufacturers continually label Full size bed dimensions as "Queen" size in their advertising. The 6" width difference between Full and Queen is MASSIVE when it comes to couples camping and the differentiation needs to be respected.

So this is dope. One of the things I believe RV companies get wrong is the need to fill space inside the RV with low quality crap, like dinettes and sofas. I would rather have the open floor space to do what I want with. So I'm actually glad this doesn't have those features. I would remove the bunks and turn that space next to the fridge into a storage space, and the rest of the previously-bunk-space into a desk with an office chair. I don't care for preinstalled audio systems, thats a waste of space, give me a bigger fridge instead.

I think I want to see more small camper trailers as well as realistically, I don't think I need that much space as you see in 5th wheels and wouldn't want to put that kind of money into something that I can't tow as I don't have a truck either, and then it gets really expensive. Most families have a van or SUV already though. I think more people will buy if it isn't too big of an investment, but still getting quality product. But I know there is the other end of the spectrum where people are looking for full-time or destination type RVs. :) :)

That is neat, they need to make it with at least a murphy bed with a full width couch. No place to sit waiting for the rain to pass is crazy. One of the major reasons to drag a trailer over a tent is protection from the elements. Have enough seating to seat the same number it sleeps.

I love that is it small and my SUV could tow it. I’ll be honest, I don’t like the bunks. Being such a small unit they seem pointless. I would love to see a floor plan where the bunks are replaced with a larger bathroom, more storage, and a bigger kitchen. It’s almost perfect, the size is great for storing in my driveway and solo camping. I love to use this for when I travel to Women’s Retreats that often have rough camping or questionable cabins. It definitely needs a bigger kitchen & bathroom for these trips, (they are not your typical camping scenarios). I can’t wait to see it in person tomorrow at the Hershey RV show.

The 13RKX is the one I like best with the kitchen and bath in the rear and a couch in the middle. The RDX would be ok with a dinette instead of the bunk beds. Since I don’t have kids, I wouldn’t want the bunk beds. The couch in the RKX folds down if you somehow need to store more bodies overnight. I have a folding table that would work for a dining table, or work surface with the couch. Or I bet a Lagun mount table would fit

On the bunk bed side, put in a large hatch to access the lower bunk area for storage if needed, canoes, kayaks, bicycles. I want a hatch in the bathroom to remove/empty a composting toilet.

You did a very nice job explaining everything in that trailer. You’re a good salesman. The only thing for me if I have a bought one because I’m retired and I live alone is, I would change the bottom bunk into a couch and that could be used as a bed too, and you still have the bunk above And in the bathroom, if I could put a small mirror and a small sink, then I think it would have everything you would need, but you did a great job explaining it all. Myles, growing up we camped, 3 kids and two parents in a pickup camper so naturally we went inside to basically sleep. We usually set up an awning so could sit out under it on a picnic table. All Kidding aside, it cost a lot to build even a small camper. I toyed with the idea of converting a 7x16 cargo trailer and all the vents, appliances tanks, materials I quit counting when I hit $10,000. So if it is a quality camper, not bad price.

This trailer would be perfect for me. I currently have a class b van. It is just too narrow and crappy at kitchen. I would simply use bolsters in daytime and turn bed into a sofa. I am a single senior and it would be perfect. And the price point is great. The double bunks would be great to have in case one of my nieces wanted to go with me. But usually I would store things in it. I am on the road a lot. So I love this. As soon as I get my van paid down where I can sell it, this would be perfect. Will have to take a look at it.

Back when I got my first camper, this would've been perfect for me. I mainly used that camper by myself (plus my dog) as a weekend fishing/hunting camper just to be a step up from tent camping. At 6' tall the bed would be big enough for me. The bottom bunk would be for my dog and the top bunk would work great for fishing poles and long guns. Not sure how it would work for a bunkhouse family camper at that size. It would be fine as long as the weather was good since you'd be outside until bedtime most days. However, even one day of bad weather where everyone was stuck inside and this thing would feel overcrowded quickly with nowhere to sit except the beds.

This would be handy for a traveling Tradesman. Or this could be attached to the front of a large flatbed trailer. Then you could bring quads or a sxs camping.

Hi! Love this little RV! Perfect for my single Nomad travels in the winters from Michigan. That is a lot of bang for the buck! Wondering if you can remove the bunkbeds for more room for a little desk and computer etc. Thanks much!

If I had to live there traveling a lot, I would use the bunk beds for more privacy and make a closet where the queen bed is!

Love the comments and ideas. I would compare to a cargo trailer build from scratch.

they apparently will make a version of this trailer that will have a small dinette in the place of the bunks. In my mind that would make an excellent solo trailer. Good place to sleep, and good place to eat or work on those inclement days. I bet these things sell very well. safe travels.

Thanks for the review. Nice little unit. We have the Aurora 16RBX. Live in the area and will be at the Hershey show this weekend. Will have to check this little guy out.👍

This is about 70% perfect for me. What the fresh water capacity, gray water and black water. How is the water heated? Wired for solar or cameras? A lot of information not given. I'd be dragging it around with a 2001 Chev S10 long bed 4x4 4.3 V6 auto. With a 250cc dual sport in the bed. What do you think? I have towed a 3.6k lbs. Boat before with no problems.

I wish someone would put out a small travel trailer with pullouts like the larger trailers sometimes have. If there is a trailer that could use one surely it's a small one. Perhaps this trailer could have had space then for a small dinette table and seats.

Love the price! I do miss the dinette but can do with eating outside. I like the layout and that it can sleep 4 comfortably.

That's awesome. Get rid of the kids bunks and add a small seating area. and a small bathroom sink.

I camp very often in Uwharrie.Out here you can hunt, fish, swim, hike, shoot guns, ride the off road trails, basically do anything you want outdoors. I'd love to have a camper like this to tow behind my Land Rover!

Wish there was a dinette instead of the bunks. I would probably take those out and put in a Murphy table under the window and add in extra storage

I would put a nice comfortable couch where the bed is..one long enough to sleep on and close in the top bunk for storage..even though I would probably never need the bottom bunk😊

This looks more like the jayco 145RB Baja edition, but that one you can get cheaper the jayco Baja used. I have one I paid $10,000 for it 2017 it's great! I believe the Baja is a hair bigger.

A couple of questions; 1). Can you have it hooked up to city water and sewer? 2). Can you live in it year around like a mobile home? 3). Can you have all electric so they you don't have to worry about natural gas or propane? 4). What is a composite toilet? Any one who reads this please let me know. Thank you. 😊

P.S. I heard on this video that you go comping in Colorado. I spert one wonderful summer in Estes Park , COLORADO back in 1974 and lover it even if I was staying in a regular home for the summer and not a camper. 😊

An ice fishing hatch on the floor, would make it great for bringing out on a frozen lake.

This is a perfect size for me. But a sink is needed in the bath. If a sink can go in those tiny camper van baths then surely there's space in this trailer. Also not everone need bunks. Would be nice to have another version wo bunks to make room for a fridge with separate freezer, storage, and larger bath with sink. A little more countertop space too if possible. Or a flip/pull out extension. Otherwise great video Myles. Thanks

Or maybe to have a guest sleep space, keep the top bunk bed & remove the bottom bed. Then could have more storage & move the fridge & controls under the bed. But change to fridge with separate freezer. And larger bath space with sink.

@kathykeene2092 Yes. Thank you for your suggestion. However, I would still need a sink. It can be used for more than washing hands. One example hand washing small clothing items. I would not use kitchen for that

They have two other variations of this model. The 13RKX and 13RDX, both with no bunk beds.
Finally, a Small Camper with Toilet, Shower, AND Standing Room!
