When I first started lure fishing for bream on the Gold Coast in the late 1990s, we'd catch double digit bream each in a session on lures just like that. They go nuts for them.

Btw, I took your advice regarding fishing the weed beds the other day and had so much more success, snapped off a swim crab mid cast near the end but other than that so much more enjoyable not having to pull weed off the lure every cast cheers
