My controller stopped working after i connected it to my iPhone XR i finally got it to reconnect. I did it by going in to devices Bluetooth devices and i got my other controller, that still works and held the share and PS button at the same time. If it doesn’t work forget every other Bluetooth device except the working one. Do this by clicking on them hitting options then forget device then i held the 2 buttons and it came up and i reconnected it. Everyone like this so it will help others!!!

ALRIGHT I KNOW THIS WORKS FOR SOME PEOPLE BUT THERE IS A OTHER WAY OK.. All you need to do is install a app called PS4 REMOTE PLAY when you install it press start then it will connect to the PS4 and then go to Bluetooth devices and then hold share the hold the PS4 button then your all set DONT LET THIS FLOP. Wait you have to turn on your PS4 First just let it connect don't press connect manually

The micro USB port on my controller was broken, has been for weeks. Randomly came across this video and used the hold share button and ps button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode and worked straight away. Thank you dude you are a life saver 👍

What u could do is take ur controler, your ps4 and a baseball bat....go outside and gently give your ps4 a couple swing with the baseball bat...if the problem still persist go back outside and carefully step over it with your car a couple times.

Life saver. Changing to another Micro USB cable and/or using a paper clip to reset the controller did it for me. Don't know which of the two but doesn't matter anymore. :) The controller kept syncing with my smartphone via Bluetooth just for trying that out once.

Thank you for this for those wondering what I did was that I connected my dualshock to my phone and it screwed me up bc it wouldn’t connect to the ps4 SO first of all if you did this forget the controller to any of the devices that you used it on this will make sure is just for the Ps4 so once you do that go to your ps4 settings, devices, bluetooth and went to the controller that wasn’t responding pressed the home button and share at the same time(till you see it blink white/blue colors) once I did that I plugged in the controller working so the ps4 registers the cable and then went to my controller not responding plugged it in pressed the home button and BOOM it connected. If it helped you please like so it does to others.

What try using the ps4 wires that came with it, put the wire on the front on the ps4 and it should work, if it didn't, do the same thing, but instead of putting it in the front, put it at the back of the ps4, IF NETHIER WORKED, try and using a keyboard and a mouse, plug it in the ps4 and bam, IF ALL OF THESE DIDN'T WORKED, uhh try and buy a tv that has cctv support, or, you can use the ps4 remote play on the app store or the google play store!
