Wednesday marks 23 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The City of Rockville held a ceremony to mark the day at the memorial site for the 11 county residents who lost their lives.

Rockville Mayor Monique Ashton made remarks at Courthouse Square Park, where a memorial stands to remember each of the 11 residents.
