I always liked the 71 Charger R/T/ Super Bee and Roadrunner/GTX body styles. But the 1968-69's will always be my favorites

I had a 72 Coronet custom sedan w the 318. Very good car.. I've always wanted a 71 Charger SE w the 440 and 4 speed.. Big $ now days.

Adam Trombino 71 se with a 440 is a rare car I used to have a friend who had one in the 90's much rarer than the rt

Agreed. Not sure what the production numbers were for such a creature but I know that several magazine testers of the time test drove the same 71 SE 440 purple Charger w all the bells and whistles with a price tag north of $6k for their comparisons against other popular 2dr cars. Even Bud Linderman did a video about the exact same car. Look it up. I had looked at a 71 SE in 1994 w the 383 2bbl B5 on white, but it was so rusty, that I passed. In 2003 I looked at another 1, a 318 car in yellow on white w the slap stick auto, but the owner wanted $18k for it, despite it needing interior work. I'll bet if he was selling that car now, that he could get 10 or 15 for it, as it was a complete and nice driving car.

Can I order my full-sheet-of-plywood-carrying Coronet wagon with a Hemi and 4 speed manual?

Another awesome video! This is the best year for the Charger in terms of styling and appearance. I'm not a fan of the hidden headlamps of the Charger RT.

When they say the 225 and 318 are both standard, what does that mean exactly? As in, if you bought a base model Coronet with rubber floor mats instead of carpet and all that, you wouldn't pay any extra money to get a 318 instead of a slant six?

Here we have a dealer information filmstrip. The idea here is to provide the dealer with information so he can sell the automobile. The automobile he will be selling is the Dodge Charger and Coronet. These sporty cars were attractive and geared to the emerging youths. The Dodge became a division of the Chrysler Corporation in the1920’s after it first made chassis for the various motor companies in Detroit, Michigan. Chrysler Corporation was named after its founder, Walter P. Chrysler. He built a building in New York called the Chrysler Building which is no longer owned by the motor company. It is a tall building which rises to a beautiful lighted point. The filmstrip employs pictures of beautiful young women as well as shots of the product and its various features. Attempting to get the dealer up to speed on the automobile’s many selling points, the hope of the filmstrip’s producer and the motor company who authorized it is to get many of these cars sold. The car the dealer will be selling is of course the Dodge automobile in general and the Dodge Charger and Coronet in particular. The more of these Dodge automobiles the dealer sell the more money the dealer and the motor company will make. Even the various auxiliary talents such as the mechanics who will service the automobile, the secretaries who type up the paperwork such as titling and computing the taxes, and the custodians who clean the showroom and service bays will stand to benefit in the long run. The executives, shareholders, and line workers at the motor company level will also prosper handsomely. Learning to sell the automobile will take time, talent, intelligence, preparation, and persistence. Can the dealer meet the challenge? Does he have what it takes? Certainly the dealer information conveyed in this filmstrip will go a long way towards to helping the dealer achieve his goal.
