I just discovered a hernia 2 weeks ago. My Dr said get a belt so I went to CVS. Theirs was bulky like a utility belt so I put it back and went to med supply (same) and started thinking about surgery (and FML). Ran across this guy, he mentioned John Sarno so I had an idea what George was about. Ordered a belt (minimalist) and It's great, I forget I have it on. I'm getting a spare. I've healed other ailments holistically so hernia improvement is my new obsession. I'm a believer, good belt it's a common sense design.

I finally decided to get surgery early this year after a few years of trying to heal it naturally. A couple things holding me back were being unsure about cost of everything, and being unsure about how long the recovery would take so just thought I'd share my experience with regards to that. Living in the Midwest USA and with health insurance that pays for 80% of everything, I had an initial meeting with the surgeon that only cost me about $150 where he told me all about the process, answered all my questions, and examined my hernia. Then the surgery, anesthesia, and hospital all together cost about $19,000, but after my insurance I ended up paying about $3000. Then I had a follow up meeting that again only cost me about $150. For recovery, I could hardly move for a few days afterwards, then it took about 3 weeks to get back to feeling close to normal. Not sure exactly, but maybe 3 months until I felt completely normal again. I wanted to cure it without surgery, but in the end I'm happy with my decision, I don't have to think about it any more.
@markuse3472 Жыл бұрын
What type of hernia was it? And, how has everything been until now?
@prismovalentino Жыл бұрын
It was an inguinal hernia in my groin. It wasn't painful, just bulged, and I could always push it back in. Getting the surgery has let me get back to normal so I'm very glad I did it. No complications so far.@@markuse3472

Hi George. I have an inguinal hernia on my right side since August 2018. I’ m asking you please how to push the hernia back inside. Mine is quite big. I would say “two golf balls” or almost. There must be a technique to where exercising the right presure in the right way and in the right angle. That way, once the hernia is back inside; I sould believe that it is the right moment to put the hernia belt correctly in place to hold it inside. Please; I can certainly believe that knowing the best possible technique to push the hernia back in would help not only me, but many. 🙂

It would probably be best to consult a medical professional for that info. Mine always went back in very easily by pushing it straight back with light pressure. It was never a problem for me.

Hi, George. First of all I want to thank you personally for what have you done here. I don't know how to call it (idea or project). Most of the people begin to realize the seriousness of hernia only when they encounter it. I will no going in to details on my personal story. I will only say that my bulge was elipse with size 40x30 mm in the inguinal canal. It was paintful when I stay standing and It was bouncing (like something was trying to come out) when I was trying to walk. The doctor refuse surgery because of Covid situation. On other hand I read the side effects of the operation and I get the decision to find another way to fix it. First I found your channel on you tube then Logan Grant (Grant me topics). I liked your enthusiasm. I like people who do not give up and try to achieve something that society considers impossible. Despite to your recommendations, I did my own research to find more and more information. I even read a few books from Amazon for Natural healing of Inguinal Hernia. I followed strict discipline on your exercises and doing everything that was written in the books I read. After 7 moths my abdomen wall is almost cured. I have no pain, no pressure and no bulge (even when I try to suck my stomach in to enforce the hernia to pop out - nothing happens). I didn't believe I could get here and I still don't believe what I have done. The most important rules are to keep the hernia in place with flat pad, don't allow it to pop out and keep strengthening the muscles. This is exactly the same thing you telling to the people all of the time. I'm not a doctor and I don't want to mislead people but this worked for me. I want to thank people like you who shared their knowledge with the audience

I wear the double HD belt during the day and then a single HD belt at night in case I turn over and need support. I am also following his program that he created and have noticed significant positive results. When I first got the hernia (2018), since I felt absolutely no pain from it, I went down the "wait and see" path. Which was o.k. but then I heard about "flat pad" trusses and ordered a good one all the way from the UK. It was expensive but it did work to keep the hernia stable. Problem was that it wasn't healing. Then I came across this channel after researching Hernia exercises(2020ish), ordered a couple minimalist belts- liked them but I felt I needed more support. So I ordered the HD's and got into his Program. Best move for me so far. The program is very well rounded, if focuses on Posture, Hips, Core strength, Diet, Exercise and Mindset. Don't want to sound like I'm a paid spokes person, cause I'm not...just a thankful subscriber. If you want to take an ACTIVE approach to healing your hernia I HIGHLY recommend the Program. These belts are so comfortable, offer the best support,easy to clean, and no one knows I have one on! Thanks George!

Bravo my friend, I recognize a quality product when I see it and ordered 5 of the minimalist left sided 30" waist.Can easily sizer down 1/3rd of your product to a micro- minimalist custom fit, small enough that it doesn't matter what might life might be like months up the road as I could wear it every day for the rest of my life and never know even have it on and or can easily keep in my back pocket in a pinch. Most people will tell you they believe what the doctor says for anything.I personally have found the opposite to be true and that even if they know how to fix your knee or back pain (WHATEVER) they would hide the information from you and recommend sugery. So after 4 years my "dried apricot" size hernia pains have now become constant...NOT a big deal people! I'm going to fix it with using only 2 to resolve it. #1 Keep Hernia belt on all day for 3 months...and #2 spend 5 minutes when I wake up in the morning take my index finger and feel around break up any knots and or scar tissue you might find. It is my belief that the pains have now become constant (not because the pocket has gotten lager) but because after 4 years the tissue has now had a chance to get hard and even FORM FIT it's self to the size and shape of the original pocket so it can more easily drop into the slot now without hesitation. Daily finger massage will break that hard scar tissue up make it soft again

I wear the double HD during the day and a single HD at night, just in case I turn over while I'm asleep. I've noticed since wearing the double that the other side isn't strained and feels more stable. It really is a personal choice, wear the single for a couple weeks and see how it feels. If you notice the other side being strained or stressed then order the double. Also read my full comment above about my experience in the program.

I am doing the exercises since about 1 week but don t notice results yet ( maybe I never will ) I have to say I was in need to get in shape so some of the exercises are not easy to do and I worry that I ll do more harm than good . The V up and V down for example makes my hernia come out even if im on my back . I am doing the others and concentrating on strentening my groin area .Right now on the right side its like the muscle is gone ( compared to the left ) I will evaluate my progress this fall ( if any ) and decide what I do next with this hernia . @@richardgallant3371 So if your hernia is popping out while doing the exercises you should be wearing your belt. My hernia area was concave, lacked any tissue density compared to the non-hernia side, I did the exercise routine for a few months straight. And just like you noticed no to very little change. BUT since I started the program the tissue has gotten more dense, is close to being like the other side and I can hold it in a lot easier. I attribute this all to the program. Trust me, read the program page and if you can afford the lowest level (Bronze) GO FOR IT. You will be glad you did.

OH... GREAT !.. MY FIRST ONE (I BOUGHT TWO... HAS BEGUN TO "DE-LAMINATE"... I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMPLAIN THAT THIS PERIMETER STITCHING BE PUT IN ON THE (at least) leg loop strap, AS THAT HAD TO BE GLUED TO KEEP IT TOGETHER.. I'M IN Jamaica, so its not practical to send it the other unused one to be stitched... WONDER IF YOU COULD TELL ME IF I COULD JUST USE ORDINARY THREAD AND GET A SEAMSTRESS I KNOW TO DO THE REINFORCE STITCHING FOR ME ?? Thats the only fault I find with these belts. ....

We are now manufacturing the Minimalist belts in-house, so most sizes of the Minimalist belts are now in stock and made in the USA.

I bought the heavy duty belt for right around 70 bucks. didn't come with a pad, wasn't made in the U.S and the velcro shit out in about 2 weeks. I hot rodded it with guitar pedal velcro and shoe glue because the style was so convenient. But I won't buy it again.

what about a rupture above navel? what to do?
@MyNaturalHerniaCure3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about that as my experience is only with inguinal hernias.
@RedneckHillbilly-ho9md2 жыл бұрын
Those types you just need a simple navel hernia belt. These ones he makes are for inguinal hernias which are very hard to contain and find a comfortable belt.

Fantastic idea to do the manufacturing yourself. Shame it is so difficult to find reliable manufacturers. I find the minimalist truss so comfortable I can wear it all night too. No harm to wear it sleeping is there ? Thanks for posting the new video. I will have to try the HD version. Do I need a code to get 20% off?
@MyNaturalHerniaCure3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t recommend wearing it while sleeping as I think it would be more beneficial to allow complete blood flow to the area throughout the night. No coupon need for the HD version. The discount is already reflected in the price on the product page.

The quality of the materials is questionable. It stretches and looses its flex. Then it does not support well. You have problems. Lots of them.
@MyNaturalHerniaCure3 жыл бұрын
Yes, as I mentioned, the minimalist belt will stretch over time and eventually will need to be replaced, especially if you only have one and wear it all day every day. That’s the tradeoff of having an extremely comfortable, minimally designed belt over having something big and bulky that lasts forever, and is the reason we came out with the HD. It solves that problem. It will never stretch to a point where it is not supportive. If you only want to buy one belt the HD is the one to get. If you want extreme comfort and a minimal design, the minimalist is better but I would recommend having three that you rotate between so you can spread the wear and tear and always have a clean dry one to wear.
