Well done, lad. I built all frame houses, sheds and barns in Florida for 10 years and from what I’ve seen here, you’re doing all the rights things that any good journeyman would do. And just seconds before you did it, I was hoping you wouldn’t put your foot through the mesh….we’ve all done it. You’re doing great….

Hey Roman!! A new project! Awesome! Watched all your building from day one & cannot wait to watch this one develop. Certainly much larger than the first. Lovely video. Watching the sun's rays filtering through the trees & the leaves falling to the ground is quite breathtaking. A wondetful watch!

Hi Roman, Greetings from Montreal. I almost jumped out of my chair when you put your foot through the floor into the mice screen to the ground !! I hope you got that hole secured. I think it is better to protect from mice, and not see them, then forgo the protection and they show up in droves in the winter !! Now the framing of the walls and some windows too !! You kept putting on layers, is it getting that cold where you are ? Where are you ??

I totally agree with you about the mice. It is better to make protection in advance. And our winters are not predictable, not the North Pole of course, but you need to insulate yourself))

How did you cut your blocking? If you want it to last use pressure treated wood for your band board. It's good practice to have a nails width gap between your OSB for swelling and contracting.

I have seen several mistakes that were made incorrectly. First of all, the film was placed upside down with the wrong side up because now the moisture can flow from the outside to the inside and not the other way around because it is only open to diffusion in one direction. Secondly, insulating wool Never compress it because cold bridges form there and if the foil is applied incorrectly, condensation forms. You can then imagine what happens then.
