Love technicians that share their knowledge. Even if a subscriber doesn't fix things personally, it helps in watching someone you got in. I had a gas heater fail. Called in a tech who said it will cost $500 for a main board replacement. Watched a youtube video. Gas flame sensor most likely faulty or carboned up. Cleaned it and never had a problem since. Mainboard MYASX.

Nice! I keep a folder with tech manuals on most refers in my van, because as you say, there's so many now it's about impossible to keep all the different test procedures in your head... unless you're some sort of genius, in which case you're probably working for Nasa and not on a Norcold 😎

My 2001 Dometic 4cu. ft. manual fridge seems to have no solenoid. Is the solenoid just on fridges with the electronic control panel? (Casita SD). I have exactly this problem - no gas coming out and I cleaned everything and replaced the orifice already.

Can you sell one of these? I couldn't find any info on your page to buy one The one for the RM2807 is obsolete but this 12V reigniter will work for that one as well but I cannot find a bolt in option. I do know of other igniters I can make work but this is a direct bolt in which is nice.

What is wrong if you get flame in the gap before the burner? I have an older model that’s solid to the burner but there is hole in it and flame wants burn out that hole

Im getting a flame will run for 5 minutes sometime last for 2 hours. Then check light comes on. Never get the fridge cold or keep it cold after i had fridge running of Ac. Any info will be nice. Thanks

Electronics Don't like heat I hang a sunscreen on my slidout that has sun on it works much better .

Depends on wattage. Use ohms law to determine the approximate current draw but mine draws ~2.7A (12V 175W )

What would cause a N8V to only cool down to 50 on LP, cools down to 32 on electric, good steady flame, gas pressure is 11” wc
