Yeah. Osprey just released a vintage series but it’s actually vintage. I like how Carrology is pushing some R+D. It wouldn’t surprise me if they release, the Carryology packs in cheaper materials. Heck, I’d take a naked 2 day.

@@MrLlama999 I like that idea, I'm all for that. Release a bag in premium materials for a premium price, then 10 months to a year later, release them in a low to middle material configs, for those who don't need a heavy duty bag.

Yeah, just finishing 2 weeks in Colorado. The Scapegoat 25 is the real deal. It’s trivial to add an organizer panel. Computer pocket not so much. But a great bag, much cleaner than a Blitz, and I love the “why not” angle.

Thank you for this video. I have been asking this for years. I own several Mystery Ranch packs and been looking for a scapegoat for years. Another great discontinued pack is the Hardscrabble. If you get your hands on one, Id love to hear your review.

I have the MR no escape dragon. Phenomenal pack, it’s a great weekend getaway pack. That’s a shame they discontinued the pack. I like your criteria, especially the “priced under ridiculous “. Thanks for the video.

Can definitely see Evergoods similarities besides the MPL30, see bit of Prize Fighter in PLC20, Street Fighter in CHZ22. Too bad MR keeps discontinuing their good stuff =/

My guess would be that the pack was cannibalizing sales of their other bags that had better margins. Usually with quality products being discontinued, it all comes down to profit.
