When I played the original Sonic 2 and fell in the spike pit: "Well crap, first the rising water chamber at Chemical Plant, then randomly appearing Grounders at Aquatic Ruin, then those cursed slot machines at Casino Night, and now this?!? When I played Sonic Classic Heroes and fell in the spike pit: "Ohh, NOT AGAI-- WAIT RED SPRING GO GO GO GO GO (starts singing 'go' to the beat of Launch Base Zone)" When I played the iOS remake of Sonic 2 and fell in the "spike pit": "GOD DAMMIT I'M SUCH AN-- Wait, I'm in Hidden Palace? ... WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THE USUAL SPIKE PIT?? Ah well, at least I'm safe. And there's a new zone that was originally scrapped from the original version for me to explore! Woo-hoo!
