Met Stephen Stills backstage at the Irvine Amphitheater. Very friendly, a real gentleman, he was kind and talked to me for awhile, a humble, thoughtful guy. no air of star struck pride. I was younger than him. God bless him.

Dude, there are three kinds of music. Good music, bad music, and classics. All three have emerged from every decade in every century. I'm thankful I was able to experience CSN's good stuff. They put out some stinkers too, don't forget. Let's celebrate artists and great works and we don't have to put down the rest.

I was lucky enough to see CSNY in Atlanta once in about early 2000's during a reunion type tour with ole' Neil. Then saw CSN open for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers a few years after. Then took my Brother to see CSN at Chastain Park Amphitheater in ATL for his Birthday. Great music, great times and threw me back to the Late 60's and early 70's and, what a great time in Music and really in America had it not been for that wretched Vietnam War that took away too many of mine and your Friends.

OMG! You said exactly the same thing I was going to say! Yes, Crosby in the Byrds, Nash in the Hollies, and the clincher was hearing those first 2 notes of "For What It's Worth" by Stills and Young in Springfield on TV in 1967. I was hooked FOR LIFE! I was 12 that summer. I'm 66 now and Love them even MORE than I did 56 yrs ago. I have all their music, writings, books, dvds, bootlegs and autographs and memories from the greatest moments of my life when I met them. Graham kissed me! David and Stephen told me they loved me. Now I can die happy. I still have to meet Neil before one of us dies, tho. My whole life I've been their devoted love slave. Stephen Stills would have been the only one I would have wanted to meet and talk with. He stands out as a man who is everyone’s equal. He never appeared to do anything but be a real partner when they played together, didn’t seem to need a lot of outside support, but willing to give it, and always show up - keeping his word. I would have loved to just listen to him daydream.

Crosby wrote some of the most hauntingly beautiful songs, imo... I love Stills' best songs, but Crosby's best ones make me cry!🙏
