5:35 this is probably true. I've had new flowers wither away as soon as the pollinia was removed (phalaenopsis orchid as well so it's not supposed to wither thar fast)

I just bought a Phalenopsis White in a dish garden with a Chocolate Aglonemia sorry for my spelling lol . They put moss over everything but underneath they are in separate containers. It’s very pretty ! After it’s done blooming I’ll check the orchid I can almost guarantee it’s packed tight with spag moss as usual .

No, never use ice cubes to water your orchids. It's a gimmick used to encourage more people to buy orchids. Ice cubes could shock the orchid. Akin to how you would react to putting your feet in a bucketful of ice. Brrrr! 🥶🥶
