I don't know why they were sceptical: the merry-go-round weighs +500 lbs (9:14); a hand gun only, a couple of pounds (29:42)--expect a difference of about 1/200th (it would've been nice to have better numerical values of each object's weight)...

there's definitely "more vibrating than spinning" on the merrygoround . . so there's definitely a lot of energy going to waste on deformation . . I think the steel frame is too soft to transfer this sudden energy input

they do, but when Adam and Jamie were that close, and in a place were they both work all the time, their scents got mixed up. It would have been interesting to have tried it outside with a fresh breeze.

Their vision isn't terrible. They are more nearsighted than a human with 20/20 vision and see fewer colours, but up close their sight is really pretty much as good as ours (better than the average human if you don't allow aids like glasses probably). They do primarily rely on their sense of smell not because their eyesight is bad, but just because their sense of smell is that good. I expect it wouldn't have been fooled outside instead of inside the workshop that has the scent of both of them everywhere.

If a supervillain is going to have shape shifting powers they’d better be a good actor if they’re going to actually fool security guards and not only able to change their voice but hope they don’t get asked any personal questions about the person they’re impersonating since they’re not likely to be able to copy their memories in order to avoid their cover being blown straight away
