Composed in the middle of the 14th century BC, it is varyingly attributed to the 18th Dynasty Pharaoh Akhenaten or his courtiers, depending on the version, who radically changed traditional forms of Egyptian religion by replacing them with Atenism.[1] The hymn bears a notable resemblance to the biblical Psalm 104.[ Horus Hathor, Isis, Serket Nephthys ??? Religion and culture tend to go hand and hand and plays a role in how religion can be formed. Unfortunately, the Goddess Asherah feel pray to those who only served the father god, El she had to be downsized and shamed for false one-sided women blaming reasons. Modern women still fall victim to being shunned and hurt by men and male- thinking in society. I practice Goddess-only Nature worship but i see many sides of the same face of our ancient Mother!!! You assuming to much, I'm from christian background and I know very much about archeology and history of middle east, in fact biblical archeology was founded by a christian. It's true that many christians don't know this stuff but there's also many that do and exactly for that reason we are more extremists when it comes to female like figurines and images, in my home is prohibited anything that can resemble a female god or any decoration that can contain any reference to female divinities like the Pachamama or Venus or any other. Even in my case I refuse to call the virgen Mary the queen of heavens exactly because is a title for the abomination some Israelites worshiped and if you read the prophets like Jeremiah God said that he will punish them for worshiping the abomination called the queen of heavens and foreign gods, one of the punishment is women will eat their children. "And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them." (Jeremiah 19:9)
@BenjaminExequielReyesGaete4 ай бұрын
And not, it's not male dominance over women that prevents the worship of female goddesses, maybe in the past patriarchy was the cause of the abandonment of goddesses but I discuss that too. But in my community the religious fanatics are women nor men, in fact women are the ones that keep the region flourishing in my community that preach and they say that men of our generation are too weak hahaha. So they, women, are the ones who are the most religious. I would say about patriarchy being the cause of the abandonment of goddesses that is too simplistic to assume that, hindu culture is very patriarchal and they have very important female gods and so many patriarchal societies of ancient times. Certainly patriarchy play a role but it's more complex than that.

I found it interesting that the menorah, the 'seven branched candle stand' is probably linked to the stylized almond tree and therefore to Asherah. Not unusual for one religion to borrow the iconography of another and therefore hide it in plain sight. I don't remember the verse but there's a quote in the O.T. about how the wives of Hebrew men were complaining after the reforms of Josiah that they were better off when they were worshipping Asherah than they were under YHWH. It's well known that Hebrew men during the 1st temple period often married Canaanite women as a form of cultural assimilation and that these women kept worshipping Asherah, even having votives of her or her sacred tree in their homes. Showing the henotheistic nature of early Israel prior to the 2nd temple period.

@@donnalowe9334 I like your list of different names for Inanna, except for Lilith. They both appear in the Sumerian story of the garden, so they can't be the same person. The Lilitu Maid is laughing, while Inanna is crying. Then, several millenia later when they're writing down biblical texts, it seems they managed to conflate the Lilitu-Maid-tree-demon with the fetus-stealing-Lamushtu, because all the traits they originally ascribe to Lilith are the same ones for Lamashtu. Which makes some sense that they would both be conflated as the character opposite to Inanna. Lamashtu was blamed for still-births and cursed pregnancies, so if Inanna was a life-giving figure, Lamashtu was a life-taking figure, similar to the tree demon in Inanna's garden.

According to the general consensus of scholarship *(even critical Christian scholars),* YHWH was originally incorporated into the Canaanite pantheon as a son of the Canaanite high god El before inheriting the top spot in the pantheon and El's wife Athirat (Asherah) before religious reforms "divorced" them. El's pantheon in Ugarit (modern day Ras Shamra in Syria) is called the *Elohim,* literally the plural of El. Interestingly, the Biblical god is also referred to numerous times as Elohim. If you want to see if El is fictional, just read his mythology in the Ugaritic/Canaanite texts. "The mysterious Ugaritic text Shachar and Shalim tells how (perhaps near the beginning of all things) *El* came to shores of the sea and saw two women who bobbed up and down. *El* was sexually aroused and took the two with him, killed a bird by throwing a staff at it, and roasted it over a fire. He asked the women to tell him when the bird was fully cooked, and to then address him either as husband or as father, for he would thenceforward behave to them as they called him. They saluted him as husband. He then lay with them, and they gave birth to Shachar ("Dawn") and Shalim ("Dusk"). Again *El* lay with his wives and the wives gave birth to "the gracious gods", "cleavers of the sea", "children of the sea". The names of these wives are not explicitly provided, but some confusing rubrics at the beginning of the account mention the goddess *Athirat (Asherah),* who is otherwise *El's* chief wife, and the goddess Raḥmayyu ("the one of the womb"), otherwise unknown." *"First, a god named El predates the arrival of the Israelites into Syria-Palestine.* Biblical usage shows El was not just a generic noun, but often a proper name for Israel’s God (e.g., Gen 33:20: “El, the God of Israel”)." "I should add here that it is very clear from the grammar that the noun nachalah in v. 9 should be translated “inheritance.” *Yahweh receives Israel as his “inheritance” (nachalah), just as the other sons of El received their nations as their inheritance (nachal, v. 8).* With this verb, especially in the Hiphil, the object is always what is being given as an inheritance. Thus, Israel is given to Yahweh as his inheritance. ((Here I’m indebted to Dan McClellan.)) It would make no sense for Elyon to give himself an inheritance. Moreover, as I’ve argued elsewhere, it is not just the Gentile nations that are divided up according to the number of the *sons of El.* It is all of humankind, i.e., “the sons of Adam.” This clearly includes Israel. And the sons of Adam are not divided up according to the number of the *sons of El,* plus one (i.e., plus Elyon). They are divided up, according to the text, *solely* according to the number of the *sons of El.* *Thus, that Yahweh receives Israel as his inheritance makes Yahweh one of the sons of El mentioned in v. 8. Any other construal of the text would constitute its rewriting.* A Sumerian hymn speaks to the goddess: “Nanshe, your divine powers are not matched by any other divine powers.” *Does this mean that Nanshe was the high goddess, that there were no gods above her? No, it does not.* Nanshe was the daughter of Enki, the high god. *In Sumerian mythology, as with Ugaritic, Israelite, Babylonian, and others, in the ancient past, the high god (Enki, in this case) divided up the world and assigned his children certain domains.* Nanshe was given a limited domain (the modern Persian Gulf) and was tasked with maintaining social justice there. *This is exactly what we see in Deuteronomy 32 with Yahweh. Yahweh is given a limited domain (Israel) and is given authority over his people, to punish them, as well as to protect and defend them against foreign enemies.* That Yahweh, like Nanshe, is said to have incomparable divine power *does not* mean that he is not subordinate to the high god who gave him his domain. *It is also of note that Nanshe, like Baal, Yahweh, and so many other deities, evolved over time. Her domain increased, and she was promoted in the pantheon (although she never became the high goddess)."* *"The Most Heiser: Yahweh and Elyon in Psalm 82 and Deuteronomy 32 - Religion at the Margins"* based on the *majority scholarly consensus.* (Written by Thom Stark who is a Christian) *"Michael Heiser: A Unique Species? - Religion at the Margins"* (A second response to Michael Heiser) *"Excerpt from “Yahweh and the Gods and Goddesses of Canaan” by John Day - Lehi's Library."* *"The Table of Nations: The Geography of the World in Genesis 10"* - TheTorah.com (Excluding the short narrative on Nimrod (vv. 8-12), *which appears to be a later addition,* Genesis 10 contains *70* names of nations or cities, a number that was symbolic of totality. Similarly, the descendants of Jacob were *70* in number (Gen 46:37; Exod 1:5), *as were the sons of the supreme Canaanite god El, with whom YHWH became equated.)* *"Polytheism and Ancient Israel’s Canaanite Heritage. Part V | theyellowdart"* (Of course, much of this [i.e., that Israel worshiped El and Asherah alongside YHWH] is really to be expected given that recent syntheses of the *archaeological, cultural, and literary data* pertaining to the emergence of the nation of Israel in the Levant *show that most of the people who would eventually compose this group were originally Canaanite. As the Hebrew Bible notes, the Hebrew language itself is a Canaanite language, literally the “lip of Canaan” (שְׂפַת כְּנַעַן; Is. **19:18**), and so it cannot often be distinguished by modern scholars from other Canaanite inscriptions on purely linguistic grounds.)* *"Ugarit - New World Encyclopedia"* (Ugaritic religion centered on the chief god, Ilu or El, whose titles included "Father of mankind" and "Creator of the creation." The Court of El was referred to as the (plural) 'lhm or ***Elohim,*** a word ***later used by the biblical writers to describe the Hebrew deity*** and translated into English as "God," in the singular. El, which was ***also the name of the God of Abraham,*** was described as an aged deity with white hair, seated on a throne.) *"Mark Smith: Yahweh as El’s Son & Yahweh’s Ascendency - Lehi's Library"* (Mark Smith is a Catholic) *"God, Gods, and Sons (and Daughters) of God in the Hebrew Bible. Nevertheless, the historical reconstruction that El was the chief god of the Israelites is not indebted only to the testimony of the (rather late) biblical witness of P. *Numerous biblical texts attest to the fact that the titles, functions, and the imagery associated with the Canaanite god El, as revealed by the Ugaritic texts and the Canaanite myth of Elkunirša, were assimilated into the profile of the deity YHWH.* According to the Ugaritic texts, El was known for his *wisdom* (e.g., KTU2 1.4.V.65[6]) and *great age* (’ab šnm, *“Father of Years,”* and drd, *“Ageless One,”* in KTU2 1.4.IV.24 and 1.10.III.6, respectively),[7] his *compassionate nature* (lţpn il dp’id, *“Kind El, the Compassionate One,”* e.g., KTU2 1.16.IV.9), his role as *father of the gods and humanity* (’ab ’adm, *“father of humanity,”* KTU2 1.14..III.47, and bny bnwt, *“creator of creatures,”* KTU2 1.17.I.24) and *creator of the cosmos.* [8] El was the *divine King* (e.g., KTU2 1.2.III.5-6) and the *head of the pantheon or divine council* (referred to variously as the dr ’il, *“circle of El/Family of El,”* KTU2 1.15.III.19; mpħrt bn ’il, *“the assembly of the sons of El,”* KTU2 1.65.3; bn ’il, *“the sons of El,”* KTU2 1.40.33, 41; pħr kbbm, *“assembly of the stars,”* KTU2 1.10.I.3-4; ‘dt ’ilm, *“assembly of the gods,”* KTU2 1.15.II.7; cf. El was also known for his *divine patronage and blessing of progeny to humans* (as in the Epic of Kirta; see, for example, KTU2 1.14.III.46-51), for his *appearances to humans in dreams* (e.g., KTU2 1.14.I.35-37), as *being a healer* (KTU2 1.16.V-VI), and for his *dwelling at the sacred mountain* (e.g., KTU2 1.2.III.5-6) at the *sources of the mythical rivers* (KTU2 1.2.III.4; 1.3.V.6; 1.4.IV.20-22; 1.17.V.47-48) in a *tent* (KTU2 1.2.III.5; 1.3.V.8; 1.4.IV.24; 1.17.V.49; c.f. the Canaanite myth Elkunirša which *describes El’s abode as a tent[9]).[10]* *To underscore the fact that terminology and imagery originally used for the god El was adopted by the Israelites in their descriptions of YHWH,* the following brief summary might be placed in comparison to the discussion of El above: YHWH is an *aged, patriarchal deity* (Ps. 102:28; Job 36:26; Is. 40:28; Dan. 7.9-14, 22), *a father* (Deut. 32:6; Is. 63:16; 64:7; Jer. 3:4, 19; 31:9, etc.), *merciful and gracious* (Ex. 34:6; Jon. 4:2; Joel 2:13; Ps. 8615; 103:8; 145:8, etc.), *a divine patron who bestows the blessing of progeny upon Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,* often manifesting himself in *dreams or visions, a healer* (Gen. 20:17; Num. 12:13; 2 Kgs. 20:5, 8; Ps. 107:20, etc.), who *dwells in a tent* (Ps. 15:1; 27:6; 91:10; 132:3) *amidst the heavenly waters* (Ps. 47:5; 87; Is. 33: 20-22; Ez. 47:1-12, etc.), the *creator of the cosmos,* who is enthroned as *heavenly King* in the *divine council* (1 Kgs. 22:19; Is. 6:1-8; cf. Fascinating discussion of scholarly research on the origin of the Menorah 28:15. If that idea is correct, the Menorah may have been created or styled to absorb and co-opt Ashera worship in the same way that the Christmas tree would later become a way to absorb 'pagan' worship into Christianity.

The connection is plainly there. Asherah is derived from Inanna. Her tree resembles the growth of the mind. Seven branches=7sins+7virtues in balance. Often depicted as mastery over two lions of emotion violence resembling the expression through the male and the female. The Maccabean removed the male and female role of the mythologies replacing it by the initiated.
@Julie-k3g8k3 ай бұрын
Tarot even takes this with the 'strength' card, depicting a woman harnessing a lion. It is about internal strength. Also of note is the adoption of the 7 chakras and opening and balancing them for spiritual alignment. Another interesting point of note: the menorah is a lamp stand. That is a depiction of her branches and tree. The seven lamp stands are even in the book of revelation and that book almost did not make the cut for inclusion in our Bible bc it was by many not deemed canonical. So, Ashirah is in the Bible, from beginning (Genesis) to end (Revelation), if you know how to read carefully.

Note also the mandorla, which is the name of the geometric form from which the Christians showed Jesus emerging. However, I think one of the big problems with the current understandings of Asherah and the Asherah pole is that the pillar capitals of the City of David clearly depict the form of these trees as represented on contemporaneous metal bowls from Idalion, as well as on numerous other pieces of religious art, with many examples displayed on ivories (the material used is important). Many of these depictions look nothing like a tree, and there are many examples of mosaics across the ancient world that show this "Mandorla" shape emerging from flowers that do not grow from trees. Also, an exhaustive consideration of these forms across the ancient world shows that they derive ultimately from geometric/metaphysical assumptions regarding the method for constructing equilateral triangles and six-petaled rosettes. This vesica piscis is the central symbol of the pillar capital orders of the second temple and was eventually covered over by the Acanthus of the Corinthian order. It is not a coincidence that the pillar upon which the Christians claim Jesus sat while being crowned with "akanthe" is flanked by Corinthian columns that display the acanthus covering up the symbols of the Ionic and proto-Aeolic orders, which are directly referential to the forms of the tree in question. How can Israel have rid itself of this symbolism if it was right there on their capitals all along. Some early Christian mosaics even depict this form on capitals surrounding an altar. The Almond tree's flowers have 5 petals, not 6. If I had to take a wild guess at the Asherah pole, I'd say that it was a date palm that was bound up with crocus corms (as a lattice) and its blooming signaled the beginning of the saffron harvest, which is the true first fruit.

Considering the connection of Asherah to the tree of life, or at least the tree that blossoms first. I'm intrigued as to the link to the amygdala as being core emotional brain tissues, linking Asherah physically as a mother of (emotional) life. I concede, it is far fetched, just sprouting ideas here, that came to mind. Second as a "tree of life" could she be depicted in Genesis, since she was apparently removed from a lot of texts, but apparently also important enough that central tenets had to be kept in the texts, as THE tree of life, that opened the eyes of Adam and Eve to good and evil? Where the father would not teach them these things? Even dissuade them against it and let them trust in his wisdom, whereas the mother wanted her children to be able to make decisions of their own? Again just ideas that came to mind. Loved the video, thank you for a lot of associative thoughts that weren't there before.

Hi Derek, this is a superb video, very informative and helpful, thank you. There are three points I want to make. Firstly, Exodus 34:13 states that the first commandment in the second set of ten commandments given to Moses by God was to destroy the Asherah religion. This is a key to understanding how the hierarchical monotheistic patriarchal Judaism of the Iron Age felt the need to suppress the more egalitarian and pluralistic wisdom religions of earlier times. Secondly, the connection between Asherah and the Tree of Life seen in the abundant tree imagery that you cite reflects a sense that religion is about interconnectedness, the sanctity of nature, a perspective that was lost as the alienated supernatural ideology of priesthood came into dominance. The tree of life recurs in Proverbs 3:18 as a symbol of wisdom, and then in Revelation, firstly at 2:7 as the gift of Christ to those who listen to the spirit, and then at 22:1 as a symbol of heaven that matches the visible relationship of the zodiac stars to the Milky Way. Thirdly, the almond shape of the mandorla, used as the Vesica piscis, is formed by the intersecting area of two circles both touching each other's centre. The mandorla was commonly used to represent Christ in Majesty, and is also associated with the shape of the female vulva and the Christian fish, symbolising the connection between heaven and earth, and representing the divine feminine, balance and harmony. Overcoming the cultural poverty of the church, in its loss of this sense of connection between cosmology and humanity, requires a recovery of the vision of the divine as equally male and female, as seen in the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang.

"Mr. S. Baring-Gould relating the legend of Tannhauser, says that after Tannhauser has escaped from the Venusberg he confessed his guilt to Pope Urban IV., desiring absolution. The Pope, horrified at the enormity of the sin, spurned the penitent, saying: "Guilt such as thine can never, never be remitted. Sooner shall this staff in my hand grow green & blossom than that God should pardon thee!"... He [Tannhauser] had been gone for three days when Urban suddenly discovered his staff to have budded & flowered. Messengers were at once sent after Tannhauser... since then Tannhauser has been heard of no more." [The Forest: In Folklore & Mythology, Alexander Porteous, 1928/2002, p. 264]
@harveywabbit95414 ай бұрын
Says the Rev. S. Baring-Gould: "We find that a condition of the first importance to religious exaltation of feeling is ignorance” (Orig. of Rel. Belief, vol. 1, p. 357). Indeed, so thoroughly has priest-craft and kingcraft (twin brothers) in every age been aware of the importance of ignorance in enabling them to retain their hold, which they secured upon the people at an early age, that they have resorted to every means to conceal the truths of science from them, or rather, I should say, to prevent them from coming to their knowledge; for science and religion ever have been, and always will be, antagonistic of each other. The two can no more unite than fire and water.

Jesus was Asherah: 1. Asherah's title "rbt ʾaṯrt ym": "she who walks on the sea" = "Jesus walking on the water" (Mark 6:45-53; Matthew 14:22-34; John 6:15-21). 2. Asherah Pole & Nehushtan (2 Kings 21:7; 2 Kings 18:4) = the Cross (John 3:14) 3. Cake & drink offering to the Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 44:14-19) = Eucharistic bread and wine (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). 4. In Revelation 22:16 Jesus called himself "the bright Morning Star" i.e. Venus (Queen of Heaven). The description 'bright' indicates Venus (Kokhav-Nogah - The Bright Star). Satan's morning star in Isaiah 14:12 did not mention the word 'bright,' therefore it's more likely referring to Mercury (Kokhav - The Planet) - the other morning star associated with magicians, thieves, tricksters, and murderers of dying-and-rising-gods e.g. Set (murderer of Osiris) and Apollo (murderer of Adonis). The Son is the prototype of Eve (and Gebirah): ▪︎The head of Woman is Man - the head of Christ is God (1 Corinthians 11:3). ▪︎Catechism of the Catholic Church 2205 - The Christian family is a communion of persons, a sign and image of the communion of the Father and the Son in the Holy Spirit. ▪︎The Queen (Gebirah) is seated at the right hand of the King (Gebir) [1 Kings 2:19] - Jesus is seated at the right hand of God [Mark 16:19]. ▪︎The Serpent comes to Adam through Eve - No one comes to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6). ▪︎The temptation of Eve in the Garden of Eden corresponds to the temptation of Christ in the wilderness/desert: 1. Eve in the first reading from Genesis, when she saw that the forbidden fruit was (a) good for food, (b) pleasing to the eye, and (c) desirable for gaining wisdom. 2. The temptations of Christ: (a) to turn stones into bread, (b) the devil takes the Jesus to a mountaintop and shows him all the splendor of all the world’s kingdoms, (c) to command angels to save him to prove that he is the Son of God. 3. The three types of temptation according to John: (a) the lust of the flesh, (b) the lust of the eyes, and (c) the pride of life [1 John 2:16].

Asherah, a goddess in ancient Semitic religion, was removed from Hebrew scripture due to the monotheistic reforms of the Israelites. According to the biblical account, Asherah was the name of a fertility goddess and the wooden cult object dedicated to her. The Israelites were commanded not to worship idols or any other false gods, and Asherah was seen as a symbol of paganism. So, basically Yaweh took them out to the woodshed.

Pythagoras means 'Heart of the Serpent', he was born in Sidon, a fishing Port in Phoenicia. His mother received a prophecy from the Oracle at Delphi that he would become a great Leader & Teacher. Sidon means 'Kingdom of the Fish', & the Essenes, who wrote the Dead Sea scrolls, worshipped Pythagoras. The Sarcophagus of Eshmun III found in Sidon names him as the 'Widow's Scion', aka Hiram Abiff, Founder of Freemasonry, of which Tyre was the premier Capital (at least equal to Thebes). In 911BC Rameses II married the Queen of Sidon, home of Jezebel (Daughter or consort of Baal, ie "Queen") founding Neo Assyrian Babylon, an alliance between Egypt & Hiram, Father of Jezebel, & King of Assyria; forming the Phoenician colonies, & building the Temple of Melqart to commemorate their alliance. The Si in Sidon is the basis of the Latin Exe, or X, and is the basis of the Cross, or Chi Rho that Constantine painted on his shields. Also known as the Cross of Tyre, or Cross of Baal, being Ra-El, or Ba'El. Using Euler's number to map irrational numbers also produces a Templar Cross: ie where Eclipses are most likely to occur, called the 'Saros' Cycle. This cross can also be seen around the neck of Nimrod in Assyria, consistent with the Union Jack, & Solstice Calendar found in the Vatican's Shiva Lingam. Shiva is the Hebrew word for 7, & their culture also found its way to Korea & Japan (via the Philippines) ultimately becoming Shintoism. It was the Phoenicians who gave their name to the Pole Star, _Phoenice,_ which they used to Navigate the Oceans using the Zodiac, that's what the Antikythera mechanism was for, & with it they wrote the Byblos Baal; what we now call the Bible. The first form of the Bible was written in 325BC & called 'Vaticanus Graecus', or 'Son of the Sacred Serpent', ie Sirius, the basis of the Sothic Calendar, which uses a Hex Decimal & base 60 system found in all Megalithic sites around the world. In the second century AD the Astronomer Valentinus Vettori transcribed it into a Lunar chart of 13 houses, what we now call the Zodiac. Horoscope means 'Star Watcher', or 'Time Keeper' & the Phoenician word for Saturn, or El, was *_Israel_* or _El,_ (Fruit) of Isis (Ishtar) & (Amin) Ra. Equally El is the 'Father' of Ra the Sun, & Consort of Isis the Earth Mother, ergo _'El Ptah'_ is the *Moon* or Set. Phoenicia was the interim between Egypt & Greece, with artisans & culture exceeding that of the Greeks, whom literally adopted the Phoenician Alphabet, which we still use to this day; sounding out words phonetically. 'Phoenician' is alliterated in 'Venetian', & 'Vikings', being Kings of the Sea, [Sea Pharoahs] El is the primary God of the Phoenicians, representing the offspring of Egypt, & his consort Astarte or Ishtar represents the Assyrian half of the alliance. Such lineages & alliances can be traced (through the naming of gods) to Ireland & the Vikings, Indonesia, the Americas; even as far away as Australia, & New Zealand. It denotes Sirius as 'Son' of Orion & Pleiades, which sits at 33 degrees of the Zodiac. The basis of the Sothic (Seth) Decan Calendar of the Egyptians. The New Moon in this position marks Rosh Hashanah, the Egyptian, Celtic, Phoenician, & Assyrian New Year, with the first New Moon of September, so called as it's the 7th House of the Zodiac, when the Sun is in Ophuichus. 'Phoenix', 'Benben', or 'Bennu', is Egyptian for 'Heron', or Feathered 'Serpent'. It baptised itself in frankincense & myrrh at Baalbek, then alights atop the Great Pyramid, upon the Holy Grail, or Altar of Ra, every 630 years to take three days off the calendar; during the course of the first New Moon of Nisan, which means 'Prince'. The Capstone of Pyramids is even called the Benben or Bennu. The Phoenix is found in all religions, which are all Astrological Allegory for the Moon travelling through the Constellations as a soul migrating from body to body. Thus is the basis of Joseph Campbell's Monomyth, or 'Hero's Journey' with the cycles & orbits of the planets serving as portents, omens, allies, etc. Thus Astrology was the Science of the Bronze Age & Reincarnation was the early teaching of the Gnostic Christian Church, & relates to the lineage of Kings: "The Pan is Dead! _Long live Pan!"_ The Bennu is the Egyptian Phoenix, to Phoenicians the Hoyle, Etruscans saw birds as sacred too, as did Celts, & Picts. Hebrew & Iberia have the same root; meaning _'over'_ ie _'overseas'_ or 'those [whom travel] over [the] sea'. A colony called Iberia also appeared on the Eastern shores of the Black Sea, with the same Dolmen & Megalithic culture originating in Ireland and Brittany circa 4500BC. _Phoenician_ means 'Scion of the Phoenix', the first Bible: Vaticanus Graecus; 'Scion of the Sacred Serpent' (Prince). Then there's the Essenes; :Sons of Light', the Tuatha De Danaan; Sons of Light, Anunnaki; Sons of Light, Arthur Pendragon; Arthur [Thor] 'Son of the Dragon'. Chertoff is Russian for "Son of the Devil" & Dracula also means 'Scion of the Dragon'. Masons call themselves the "Brotherhood of the Great White Serpent", & the Ziggurat of Anu denotes her as a great white Serpent too, while at New Grange & the Bru na Boinne, Ireland (4000BC) the white quartz ramparts also denote the Moon. The Moon itself travels either side of the Solar Elliptic by 5 degrees through specific constellations in a serpentine fashion that is always changing, but repeats every 19 years, the time it took to train a Druid or Magi, Magi meaning 'Teacher'. The Phoenix is also associated with this sacred number 19. "Pharoah" means 'Great House' or 'House of Light' & Cairo used to be called Babel. Pharaohs were called 'Commander in Chief' & wore a hooded crown representing feathers, as do Native American Chiefs, ie the Feathered Serpent. Aztecs also had 'Serpent Kings', (Canaan means Serpent Kings, & Sidon was a Son of Canaan & Great Grandson of Noah) who were called to lead with "cunning & guile" being the virtue of their "right to rule"; being seen as "just" in public, while shrewd in private. "As wise as Serpents, (while appearing as) _gentle_ as Doves." The old Egyptian flag of an Eagle holding a Snake is also reflected in the Modern Mexican flag, denoting the Constellations of Serpentis (13th sign of the Zodiac) and Aquila. The dimensions & 12 mathematical constants of the Great Pyramid are also expressed in New Grange, & Stonehenge, as well as in Watson Brake, (2500BC) & Teotihuacan, which correlates to the Phoenician/ Sumerian Seximal system, which is what our modern systems of time are based on, unlocking a fractal pattern reflected in the musical chord, electrical resistance, relative Planetary orbits, indeed; throughout _all_ creation. Officially no one knows who invented Astrology, the Zodiac, navigation by the stars, or time keeping. But whoever built the pyramids, & pioneered the 24hr clock in Egypt 5000 years ago already knew the exact dimensions of the Earth, & the speed of light. Because these can all be calculated using these Megalithic sites as a Surveyor use a Theodolite. Specifically at Teotihuacan; 230 degrees opposite Cairo, & with the exact same footprint. The ideal positions to determine the speed of light using the transit of Venus, allowing for accurate Longitude for Maritime navigation. Capt Cook did the same thing in 1774 when he 'discovered' Easter Island. The only culture that fits the bill was wiped out "not one stone upon the other" by the Romans in 146BC. Tyre, the capital of Phoenicia (Israel) sat just offshore from Ursu Salaam: City of the New Moon; City [or 'Rock'] of Peace; root of the name _'Jerusalem'_ & was also seized by Rome in 70AD after a 13 year siege. The gap between is 216 years (6x6x6). Greek Dionysians built the Temple of Solomon (now called the Temple of Melqart) representing the Solar Lunar (Solomonic) Metonic Calendar on which this system is based. They also carried mirrors, a practice associated with Magi, Druids, Greeks, & Egyptian scholars. These Mirrors are Astrological charts called 'Cycladic _Pans'_ & record the cycles of the planets. The first Temple of Melqart ( Phoenician Horus, Hercules, Pan, Thor) represents the 13th Constellation of Ophiuchus or 'Serpent Bearer' (hence Orphic Serpent worship) & had pillars of Emerald (Jasper) & Gold, ie Isis (Tree of Life) and Osiris (Tree of Knowledge). The Jerusalem Temple only took payment in "Shekels of Tyre" a currency minted during the Jewish rebellion against Rome, hence _"give that which is Caesar's unto Caesar"_ When Alexander sacked Tyre in 332BC they moved to Carthage meaning "New City" or New Jerusalem, & built a second temple with Pillars of Bronze. Nebuchadnezzar also sieged Tyre for 13 years, taking the City captive in 573BC: the same time as the biblical account of the Jews, (& again the Romans in 70AD after a 3.5 year siege, also consistent with the same biblical accounts). Palaset was the name of a tribe of the Sea Peoples, Pallas _Set_ denotes the New Moon of Ammun Ra rising in Gemini, the *Pallas* Constellation of the Twins "that stand before Orion", due West of the Temple between the Gates [Pillars] of Gibraltar; "Gabriel's Altar", ie 'Pallas Stein', or Pallas Stone, 'Phallus' or Philosopher's Stone: the _"Rising Son"._ So 'Wormwood', like 'Tyre' means 'Bitter Rock', for the same reason; as the Son rising from the 'Bitter' [Salt or 'Black'] Sea of the Underworld; The 'Black Rock' or 'Gatestone' 🌑 The Cross of Tyre or Ba'El ❌ represents Lunar maximums & minimums & correlates with the Cross Quarter days of the Solstice Calendar. Align the Cross ❌ Chi Rho Christian ✝️ & Star 🔯 to the Zodiac, & you have a Compass & Timepiece that correlates to the Nautical Mile; allowing for global Maritime navigation. It is in fact an Astrological allegory for a Sothic Metonic Saros Zodiac Calendar using Accusations in a Mirror 🪞 *A Phoenix **_Cypher_*

Christmas tree with electric lights matches up with the 7 or 8 lampstands of the Menorah. ''she'' is ''rooted'' or simply standing on ''mother'' earth, the lamps are her ''children'' , celestial dwellers, planets, ''poor lights'' , ebionites. A lot of catholic churches have a place of worship to burn your personal candlestick to mother Mary. She never left the House.

These same four signs are also the four sons of Ham (summer). Canaan aka Scorpio gets blamed for everything that goes wrong. See Rev. 9.5, where this scorpion is the leader of the four signs of Sagittarius (Fire/Jupiter), Capricorn (Earth/Vesta), Aquarius (Air/Juno), and Pisces (Neptune/Water). These four signs of winter (Shem/Nahor) are followed by spring (Japheth/Abram) aka Aries (Fire/Jupiter), Taurus (Earth/Vesta), Gemini (Air/Juno), and finally Cancer (Water/Neptune).

Great video so far, I just had to comment early that I learned of Asherah to be God's (El) wife, and while the heavenly father represents Eternity, she represented Reincarnation. It would be interesting to think of life as 7 cycles that everyone goes through, in which Asherah governs souls to go through each cycle in different times in hopes that they reach the final cycle (End times) with spiritual enlightenment capable of granting them El's favor into Heaven. I don't believe this, but it would be interesting to fathom how early Christians worshipped both God and Goddess, in addition to their contrasting spiritual ideologies.
