Good luck man. My advice: Shell out the money for a game PC, if it is what makes you happy and gives you joy it's far more important than money sitting in the bank. I was born with multiple heart conditions and I am very frugal in terms of spending. But every now and then it's important to treat yourself to what makes you happy if you can afford it. If that is a gaming PC, do that. If that is a vacation, do that. Best of luck to you during these times, hopefully you'll be okay soon!

Tip: Get married to a noble, the battle gear is worth 500k + and they usually have really good skill stats (mine has 160 steward giving me 40+ party size, her name is Sora) also when your character dies, of old age or if you are on permadeath, you can select your spouse or child as main character.

Z C Go to a castle and there should be a noblewoman you can woo if not try another castle, talk with her and say that there is something you would like to discuss, tell her you admire her and want her hand in marriage. Then you need to play the speech game - select that you want to spend time with her, (load a save in case you fail) remember you will need to win the speech game twice with a break of a couple days in between, then finally pay her dad roughly 5k (find him using the encyclopaedia, keybinded N) also remember you must not be at war with them (or you won’t be allowed in the castle) I hope this helps!

This is the best early access game I've played. I have already got my money back in hours played I'm currently on 55 hours and I've only met 3 bloody nobles. However I'm married with a baby girl. I have two castles had a army of 700 and lost them all taking my last castle.

You can lock the wares you dont want to sell, and then press sell all. The locked stuff wont sell. This is a lot faster. You can lock by clicking the circle at the right of the item

When sieging, build siege towers so you lose less men than climbing up ladders. If you want to start to even the odds the start of the attack ride in on your horse behind a barricade and start raining arrows on the defenders before your troops even get there don't just immediately get off your horse. You can easily take out 10-15 archers on the wall and another 5-10 if you shoot their arrows back at them. I love watching your videos but I feel like you played enough to pick up on these things.

I stopped building siege towers and started using ladders. Less likely to be destroyed and if the siege towers do get destroyed you run out of options real fast and when ladders are pushed off you can push them right back up. Also when the enemy try to climb down they are wide open for killshots.

I think messed up in Bannerlord, I joined Battania and got a castle in the lands of Asserai, but then I created my own kingdom. But you have to tell Arzagos, but I cant speak with him because I am at war with Battania...

Pro tip: a lot of the times it's easier to shoot the horses of the cavalry, it makes them easier to kill when they are dismounted

I find it harder to kill infantry with spears than horsemen with spears in melee. When they are on foot they are very dangerous to your horse with those long thrust attacks. With a bow it's easier because you reduce their mobility, of course.

Some of the smithing perks increase your smithing endurance, and some perks give you endurance or vigor attribute points, so smithing has some very powerful perks, not to mention the tons of money you can make off it. I bet that if TW eliminated or significantly reduced the stamina aspect, they would also nerf the xp growth and profitability. The only major impediment to making a ton of levels in smithing is the stamina gate, and it's not much of one.

If you're on a horse with a pike you can press X when you're moving in a straight line and at a certain speed and your guy will lower it and brace it and it hits for ~440. It's so good. Also, X is to switch weapons modes so weapons that can dual or single hand thats how you use it, or the pikes that can become halberds. Pressing X is how you switch between the two

This is how I started my kingdom, with Vlandia. So with my kingdom with war with the Vladians, I went on and brought all the Vlandian clans into my kingdom and then destroyed the Kingdom of Vlandia. I took all their land and expanded into the empire destroying Sturgia too.

When upgrading you should just upgrade all your troops then click on any different tab and click apply changes and you will notice your gold did not go down but your men are trained to what you wanted

BEST STRATEGY FOR SIEGING LARGE GARRISON CITIES: you do NOT build any siege tower or battering ram (i'll explain later) 1. you build 4 trebuchets, when one is complete, you press ''pause'' and click on it and ''take it to reserve''. Do this for all 4 trebuchets. 2. you build 4 onagers, same story you take them back to reserve 3. you pause game and place the 4 trebuchets you have in reserve (all at the same time), you let them destroy all balisstas and the entire wall Should any trebuchet get taken out, you replace it with a balista from your reserve 4.Every time your siege engines destroy an enemy balista, you kill 5 of their men. Since the enemy replaces balistas one by one, you constantly have a 4vs1 siege situation where you kill 5 of their men every time you kill a siege engine. do this until the garrison has only around 100 militia left (because at this point the militia starts replenishing everyday making it ineffective to wait any longer and lose precious food supplies, TIME TO ASSAULT 5.During the assault face you can use 2 strategies which are highly dependent on your army composition: case 1 FEW ARCHERS: you want your troops to only engage through the gaps that were created in the walls instead of climbing a siege tower or carrying a battering ram, this way you will not lose soldiers that get singled out or shot down while moving slowly. You can do this by using ''charge'' (it's that simple) case 2 A LOT OF ARCHERS: you want to spread out your archers in front of the castle in a loose formation (f3, f3) and pepper the enemy down as much as possible. Once this is done, let them hold fire to draw their weapons (f4) and do the same as in case 1. for me to take out a garrison of 400 i lost 21 men myself, and 5 in another siege, it depends all killed though but here is the catch if you call all your clann members to join you place your high quality troops in their armies and place crap in yours you will only lose crap soldiers from your main army Also: the larger your army, the shorter it takes to construct the siege engines (high engineering skill also helps)

I enjoy the combat in the game and I do enjoy when you show it but only when the group size is close. I always just (SEND TROOPS) if I have a lot more men or if im just fighting bandits or looters. Saves A LOT of time in the game. A bunch of my friends asked how I got so far so fast. Hi. I have a castle. Prosperity is 1018. Loyalty 100. Food 450. Militia 160. But whenever i fill the garrison i come back to find it empty except for 1 soldier. I recruit 90. Two "days" later there's 1 left. What is happening? What's the cause of this?

You can buy your way out of a war when you leave the kingdom. Just be right next to the kingdoms leader and 'attack' as soon as you can. There should be a option to stay there blade, then one to make peace. Just offer enough to satisfy the leader and walk away war free. Now before warned, it can be expensive. I had 2 cities and a castle and it costed me 167k to make peace. (They had far superior armies and I would have been steamrolled.) Also, sell any workshops you have in cities that you don't own, as you loose ownership when you go to war with that cities faction. Lost 3 workshops without warning, costing me about 1.2k a day.

I kind of don't like how Vlandia can march an army past Battania to attack other countries. I mean it would just seem weird if England marched through France to attack Germany (in Medieval Times, not the 1910s and 1940s). But this is working in your favor. Lol. Befriend Battania and turn them against Vlandia so you have an ally between you and your future holdings!

you could also do what i did... just attack some random noble of X kingdom... siege their town capture it then get the next noble you see to sign peace and you keep your castle aaand you have peace till some 1 declares war on you... on my 1st play throught 1 of the minor factions placed war on me the moment i got to clan tier 1 for some reason... but seriously the sturgian veteran warriors + empire sergant crosbowmen is blody lethal conbination... ~400 vs 116 men (most of mine ranged) and you can totally own the enemy if you have high elecation for ranged... just put up shield wall in front and its a cakewalk (dunno why people say that... walking on cakes should be hard) :P

The only positive of executing lords is that they cannot come back to siege your castle and create a bigger army than before

In late game they will struggle to create an army big enough to come back to annoy you without getting whacked around by bandits and looters. IMO it's much better to drop them in a prison for Influence or sell them if somehow you're short on money but that shouldn't be a problem once you own a settlement...

This game is a bit to easy. Have 50 archers in loos formation Have 30 infantary in loos formation close behind the archers. When the enemy atacks and get to close to the archers let the infantry charge. Let them go back behind the archers dont let them fellow the enemy. Because archers dont shoot when a allied infantary is fighting in front of him. I wreck armys with 200 to 250 men while i loos 2 or 3 men. Make sure you have that extra perk for bow ammo for soldiers helps alot.

I had wondered if execution would work or not. I am wondering now if their heirs are now in charge. I remember some of them are just babies. Think they will have advisers lead now, if the child is to young? Brutal, is all I can say. Can you show us the lineage for those factions that you killed leaders of? I am curious who leads now. Also i like to give command to the units sargeants just to see how they react,so far they have done pretty well,apart from archers charging into the enemy infantry without using bows or crossbows..

@ESO it is possible to check the attributes of wanderers before hiring them. If I remember correctly you just right click on the image of the wanderer that appears if you click on the tavern menu from the city menu. From there it shows you the attributes. Always confused me when you first hire then just to check attributes. Its not actually needed.

If you keep prisoners till you take Thier faction if it's like the first game once that have no faction you'll be able to increase relations a little quicker and just send them out with small armies and stuff and let the strongest survive so you don't have to get rid of companions and can level them further before giving them a bigger army of this makes sense. Could have been the diplomacy mod I had installed as well though.

Hey, don't execute those sturgians (Raganvad was acceptable tho, he was a mad king) because you want vassals. Instead, let them go to increase their relationships and them persuade them to defect to your side and become your vassals to protect your lands for you.

@ESO Danny you can press X to put your lance in a jousting like position which does crazy damage. Also please go to the blacksmith and melt own the junk weapons and like make your own badass sword

I became frustrated losing my elite troops to catapults while storming cities or castles, so I started playing it for the long haul..starving the enemy out. Been packing enough food to last my army weeks to outlast the enemy then wait for their numbers to decline. It really helps when the defenders outnumber my force. This is the way sieges were meant to be as well haha and I lose less men this way, that way I can move on to the next target faster and waste less time replenishing my army.

Hi mate, vs looters especially if you have more soldiers is better to do the automatic resolution of the match. No one of your soldiers can die because looters have weapons that they dont kill in that way, the can just be Wounded after the match.

You become part of that faction. Vassal. But I wouldn't recommend to do that IF you want to get your own kingdom at some point, because there will be no way to do that - at least currently. You will be able to leave kingdom - yes, and you will be able to capture towns and castle, but you won't have possibility to access kingdom menu and options. There are just 1 advantage, or exploit (depends how you look on that) - factions won't declare war on you, just because well you don't have a kingdom to declare war on. Devs will probably update that at some point.

So after leaving vlandia, unless i own vlandian fiefs and such in their territory theres no other way of getting vlandian type troops?? If someone can let me know would be useful before i buy this game, i wanna go independant after clan 3 but only want to use vlandian troops, im not a fan of all the mixing and matching of different factions and types of troops in my army thing.

i was in khuzait and my army was 100 percent khuzait horse archer and i when i formed my kingdom and made peace with khuzait, i could continue recruiting khuzait soldiers

and i think when you form your kingdom. they make peace with you automatically. im not sure but both in this video and my own game it happened

90% of my battles are auto resolved because the only way troops level in this game is getting kills themselves, auto resolving is also pretty op at the moment

U should have take all elite troops from garrrison instead of taking recruit from village.. that would be wise choice...

You can go to the tavern menu and right click on the NPC you want to recruit to view their skills before you recruit them. 👍

You always recruit all troops but never press the recruit all troops button...

you can check follower attributes before you hire them by right clicking on their portrait when they're in the tavern.

They can be. You just have to build training fields in the castle and then the garrison will get a daily xp bonus.
