Tolles Zeitdokument! Danke dafür. Die Südschleife war eine sehr anspruchsvolle Strecke. Leider gibt es im Gegensatz zur Nordschleife keine komplette Runde vom Kurs. (gibt's nur in Computergames wie Assetto Corsa ) War halt nicht so populär. Jedenfalls sieht man noch die erste Kurve nach Passieren der Südkehre und die Fahrt Richtung Müllenbach etc.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/jV6UeoSNnqd1qs0 Nürburgring Südschleife (south loop) was a German motor racing circuit which was built in 1927 at the same time as the world-famous Nürburgring Nordschleife (north loop). The Südschleife and Nordschleife layouts were joined together by the Start und Ziel (start/finish) area, and could therefore be driven as one track that was over 28 kilometres (17 mi) long. Races were held at the combined layout only until 1931. The Südschleife was used for the ADAC Eifelrennen from 1928 until 1931 and from 1958 until 1968, as well as for the Eifelpokal and other minor races. The Südschleife was rarely used after the Nordschleife was rebuilt and updated in 1970 and 1971, and was finally destroyed by the building of the current Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit in the early 1980s. Today only small sections of the original track remain.

In a nutshell : sudschleife (south loop) is a sothern part of a Nurburgring which is an opposite to the northern part of a Nurburgring the Nordschleife (North Loop), now the circuit was destroyed and the land where the previous sudschleife build was now become a Nurburgring GP Circuit (and fact the straight chicane at the start line was the previouslly road part of a sudschleife)
