The car system is integrated into the railroad at a crossing intersection. The road parallels the tracks, if no train is present at the 4 way traffic light the vehicle turns right and crosses the tracks. If the train is detected the crossing gates come down and the vehicle continues straight thru the intersection.
The vehicle stops and grossing gated are controlled by 2 Arduino Uno's and 4g-9g servos. The servos are activated with a PCA 9685 driver board and I2C communication. This allows both Uno's to operate the servos. The doors of the service building are opened with a stepping motor and lead screw also controlled by an Arduino Mini Pro.
