Usually, one shot of espresso is extracted from around 15-25 grams of ground coffee, depends on the roast and blend. For Nespresso, however, one capsule only contains 5-5.5 grams of ground coffee (except for Kazaar that each contains 6 grams). If you prefer a stronger taste and don’t matter a doubled cost, by having one cup of cappuccino you can make it two shots with two capsules that you only extract 15-20 mL from each capsule. I am personally sticking with it and it tastes way better than one shot only. Also, do try some third-party capsules such as Lavazza, L’OR and illy. You will love them.
