Not gonna lie, I really hope Legends ZA is more focused on battles, re-introducing things like Triple Battles and Rotation Battles. That would make it the polar opposite of Legends Arceus, which preferred the player to be mauled to death by the Pokémon instead.

I noticed a mistake at 1:41 , Gen 5 is listed 2 more times after Gen 7 when they were meant to be Gen 8 & Gen 9 respectively.

I'm actually so pumped by the idea of an entire pokemon game inside a city. Most pokemon games always have super small cities that don't even feel real, or they have cities like the newer ones were sure you can see more stuff in the distance but in the end the map just ends up being small. Luminose city was the closest to an actual super big city, but it was implemented kinda weirdly and for most players it was a headache to explore. With this game however, it's already looking like they're about to cook some super big, futuristic, open world city that, may be kind of a stretch, is giving Cyberpunk vibes. Still super mad about Legends Unova being skipped but at least Legends Z-A is looking cool

It's honestly very doubtful we're stuck ONLY to Lumiose City. As this is a Legends game, that means the entire regional dex plus some extras will be catchable and not much of Kalos's dex would be able to realistically be in the city that's in the dead center of the region. Now the STORY might take place for the most part inside Lumiose, but it's not believable for EVERY aspect of the game to be locked inside this one city.

They the long awaited Sinnoh remakes and later made a Legends game inside Sinnoh, so the logical step was to make the Unova remake next and then the Legends game inside Unova right? I guess not everything needs to be tied to a pattern, but still feels sad that they went from Gen 4 to 6

@@Leon_LF That's because off of the remakes, save for FRLG, were released during the gen double their own. Gen 2 remakes in Gen 4, Gen 3 in Gen 6, Gen 4 in Gen 8. Gen 5 remakes will be during Gen 10's lifespan, and we're still in Gen 9's even if it's more the tail end by now.

My thoughts on this : As a french person it’s really funny how you pronounced the colors, but I guess it was mostly correct. Yeah sure mega talonflame suffers from rocks, but those basically don’t exist in VGC and that’s where tailwind is strongest. A free tailwind just from entering the battle would be absolutely broken, completely meta warping. Also mega clawitzer’s ability should logically be "Giga Launcher"

I love the mega gogoat, but I do personally believe that gogoat will be more if a ride pokemon like the ones in Legends Arceus, but still, it’s a really cool and fantastic design

so here's the funny thing with water-dragon clawitzer-Pokemon Reborn has PULSE clawitzer with the same type combo! All pulses are designed to be boss fights and aren't obtainable by the player, so its stats are super minmaxed even with absurdly large BSTs. Mega clawitzer's base stat spread is 252/1/60/120/70/252. Its ability is contrary, and its entire moveset is moves that lower special attack by two stages. If mega clawitzer is the area boss, I doubt it'll be THAT insane, but it's food for thought!

2:38 the biggest problem would not even be in singles, where stealth rocks are everywhere, but vgc. a garanteed tailwind would be the most broken thing since inceneroar imo. what i could see is something like while it is in the field, the ally pokemon gains a 1,5x speed boost? maybe itself as well so it doesnt feel bad in singles. that way forcing it out with big damage would be a true counter i think they should stick with gale wings tho, make its attack high enough that the 1 priority turn before taking damage is significant. and they should create a good physical flying move that does not damage the user.

Your Mega Talonflame is nuts. Priority is determined after a move is clicked, so T1 Talonflame can auto-set Tailwind and also priority Brave Bird. Insanely scary

That used to be true in gen 6 but it got changed in gen 7 (so you don't get to use priority willowisp on mega sableye turn 1 anymore for example)
