Thank you for this Sam. This is a Great move by Qatar Airways. The cost of owning a Private jet can get out of control. It definitely makes more sense to fly Private only when needed to and spend on Private flights only when needed too. It's a great move. Not to have to worry about maintenance costs, and simply pay and fly. I love that!

A380 production had already been discontinued maybe a year before covid so it was doomed anyways (Airlines keeping their A380s if they alerady own some but not replacing them at the end of their life)
