I'm with Woops on the materia system, it needs an overhaul. The only problem I see, is that it's an old system that got grandfathered in from 1.0 and has been stripped down into only focusing on substats for battle and crafting/gathering gear. Also, with how that being the only way of acquiring ARR Relics, I don't see the materia system changing anytime soon.
