NAD Electronics Iconic Technology: Power Envelope

From Denmark, Right now I'm using a NAD 2200PE with a preamplifier 1155 on my Cerwin Vega AL-1000. I was lucky enough years ago to get some of the last new front side and cover for my NAD 2200. It looks like one that just came from the factory. I was a NAD collector for many years and had collected up to 109 NADs. Today I only have 25 left. The slightly special ones I have are NAD 200 Dolby, NAD 7600 Receiver, NAD 7030, 7060 0g NAD 7080. Then I also have NAD 7240PE, NAD 2140 + NAD 3140 and NAD 2100PE + many more of the smaller ones.

Thirty five years ago the NAD 2200PE stunned with its incredibly big and bold sound. It was seemingly unflappable and drove the most difficult speaker loads with ease. One of a handful of designs that could bring the notorious AR LST to life.

Have the 1155 preamp and 2200 PE amp combination. Was lucky to get it from a guy second hand in incredible good conditions 15 years ago. I was amazed since my youth about the sharp, warm and impulsive sound. Now it stands on my desk like new, not one single scratch or mark, with two HECOs superior 830, sounds great, dont want anything else. 🙂
