This scene was so powerful to me because it conveys a lifetime of pain in one moment. The one moment when Jordan realizes that this is a wound he will have to live his entire life with, the fact that HE killed the one he loved. It reflects so much of how one moment can have repercussions beyond anything we could have ever thought.
@aitishkumar65746 жыл бұрын
Priyadarshan Gajbhiye Yup.A moment of weakness took everything, literally everything from him. For me, the most powerful moment was when he was literally crying on the stage and the people didn't even care and thought that he was just in character, hence the shouts. That hit me so hard because of the truth to it. There are so many epic moments in the movie though. Jaby didn't watch the song which starts when this one ends and man! That whole song captivated me. I don't wanna spoil so I am gonna stop right here.

Translated as, Kaga re= oh crow, mori itni araj = my only request chun chun khayiyo maans = you can eat all my flesh (as crows, eagles and vultures are scavengers) khaiyo na do naina more = don't eat my eyes mohe piya ki milan ki aas = I'm in hope to meet my love.

@neerajmadhavan1046 жыл бұрын
The crow part is part of the story of sassi punoon, that is used in sufi songs a lot. the story is that Punoon is a prince of Bhambore, he goes to the next kingdom disguised as a commoner from Bhambore. He works for Sassi's father (washerman) and meets all the tasks set by her father proposes. Sassi's brothers (princes) come unwillingly to attend the marriage. On the night of the wedding, Punoon's brothers get him drunk and smuggle him back to Bhambhore. When Sassi realizes what has happened, she runs across the dessert back to Bhambhore. As she is dying of thirst, she finds the wild animals gathering around her to eat her. This is where the famous line comes in, Sassi asks God, to let the animal's feed on her, but leave her eyes, that are faced looking towards her husband's homeland. To escape rape, the land consumes her (just like Sita). the would be rapist is a shepherd and gets scared. Punoon wakes up and frees himself and runs back to Sassi. He meets the Shepherd, who asks forgiveness and relates all that happened. Despondant, Punoon too asks God to let the land consume him and thus joins Sassi forever. It has nothing to do with zorastrianism. its the last lament of a separated lover.

I also think it was one of the best movies... If someone doesn't have even the simplest logic of putting the pieces in place, which we learn in kindergarten, probably they're not the intended audience...

The editing and camerawork on this song itself is enough to argue that it's not the best movie.
