Paul won an Olivier for playing Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire revival in the West End. Reviews used the words, "Brutal", "Terrifying", "Explosive". He possesses the range to pull a Gladiator character off, don't fret.

I'll probably watch because Denzel & Pedro are in it. Judging by the trailer, the plot of the movies seems chaotic. Also, it looks like switched the actor for the character of Lucius. Too bad they couldn't bring back the original actor to play that character as an adult 😕

I’m so excited to see this, I could actually cry. 😭 If you had told me when I was a kid that 25 years from now, I would be watching the trailer for the sequel on my phone, my head would have exploded………and I would have been very confused. 😂

Love this and looking forward to seeing this 😮 Also, just a little kind nudge that Paul Mescal’s surname doesn’t rhyme with Pedro Pascal’s. It’s Mescal where the ending sounds like the word call (It’s really hard when nothing rhymes with his surname! 😂) Said lovingly and kindly, adore you both ❤❤❤

Looks great. It might not reach the rights of the first, but I will be happy if its close. The music in the film is by a good composer (Harry Gregson-Williams) who has done loads of films, and Scott has used him before on The Martian, Kingdom Of Heaven, and The Last Duel. The modern stuff is sadly a thing the studios push in trailers these days.

I love your first part with Russell Crowd. But in the sequel he faces a large and surprising cast and in his desire to achieve a good story. But that imperfection of including the rap theme in the trailer felt strange. But I hope it only happens there.

The director feels he was or called him "perfect" for the role. He did not audition him for it. Ridley saw his breakout Baata winning series Normal People, called him directly for this film and that was that!

Ridley still a great filmmaker but his screenwriting was really problematic for napoleon,this is why Christopher Nolan surpassed him ..dark night, Oppenheimer,insterstellar are extremely well writed..with great pacing...

Absolutely hate the hip-hop in this. Couldn't they even just remix Now We Are Free? The music took me out of it entirely.

It's just a complete mood killer and such a daft decision from people who probably only put it in because it featured the word "coliseum" in the lyrics and they probably thought it was genius level creativity. Hans Zimmer's score for the original is absolutely iconic and remixing something from that with a slightly modern twist while staying faithful would have been so much better.
