What matters more than software choice is knowing what you're doing. Imo blender is the best software for starting out for free. TON of tutorials on KZbin and I haven't found a better community for 3D artists.

but ultimately if you are looking at a job in the industry, you have to know the tools to get your foot in the door. A studio using Houdini and Maya won't hire a blender guy. Blender is still far down the list of apps studios are using day to day in their pipelines. Period.

Edit and color grade the video in DaVinci Resolve Studio. Create visual effects in Houdini or Unreal Engine and EmberGen animation for cartoon use Maya Add motion graphics in After Effects and Cinema 4D Track and stabilize footage using Mocha Pro if needed. Composite complex effects in Nuke X. Texture 3D models in Substance Painter or Adobe Substance 3D Designer cloth simulation use marvelous designer Gaea to create landscapes SpeedTree_Modeler to create plants ZBrush to create high detail's face or body python to do multiple task with just code

Agreed that you need to learn Maya only if you want to work in the industry because for beginers it's user interface takes time getting used to, but I've worked a lot in Maya in my last Job so now I don't find it that difficult now. In my current Job I have to use C4d due to media industry but still see many people using Maya and 3ds Max and C4d has very little user base, also you must have Octance or Redshfit to fallow it's tutorials and both renderes are not easily available. As for beginers, hobiest and freelancers I do recommend to start from Blender.

@Tanishq_XD If you can learn it than it will give you most benefit in the industry. But for just learning 3d and use as hobby than blender will serve you better as its free. Learning Maya will take time but will also reward you. Also there is on harm in learning two or more 3d softwares

Anyone facing lag in unreal just change frame rate in project preferences and set it to 30 or 60 it will help alot Anyway I'm learning blender will move onto houdini or unreal or maya after I'm done building my portfolio and when I'm comfortable on blender I'll learn something new
