Makin Bacon Exactly, Madara is not only melodramatic, but is a selfish child-man. Powers of a god regardless, without them he'd just be a whiny little shit. People die all the time, even in this world, and yet when I met someone who's family member died in war, the only thing they ever felt was regret and pain, not some sick twisted need to kill. Madara is an insane psycopath, but then, most Naruto characters, protagonists included, are.

Makin Bacon He gets beaten by one of his minions. and then what he turns into is beaten by a black haired kid who's eyes have a menstrual cycle, and a blonde haired kid who spouts "fwendship" even as he forgets pretty much every filler character that he promised to remember, and who is a loudmouthed idiot. You tell me. Ah, the irony of villians. the only good villians are those who manage to make the protagonist question themselves. Madara was just an obstacle. he was a powerhouse, sure, but he meant nothing, and in the end, he became nothing. Nagato was at the very least... human, in character. Madara was just a computer that emulated "emotion" "bleep bloop kill them" imo, Madara was never the final villian, nor was he a good one. he was the avatar of "power" but that's just about the only thing he had. Power. Ironically, he was more like what people describe Tobi to have been than Tobi - a husk.

But one thing that I did find incredibly sad/hilarious is that even though Hinata threw down her life for Naruto, he came back home, hugs Sakura, and leaves the village again... Not quite... While the other flashbacks went out of their way to interrupt your fight scene or add a bit of backstory by appearing out of the non-protagonist's mind. This one was where Naruto basically asked to have this happen and gathers the knowledge as well.

Yeah reading the manga of this in Shonen Jump it is so freaking sad how accurate this was. Really all you needed were about 5 more flashbacks, Naruto getting hit for uh some reason and more blathering on about peace. Not to mention the whole conclusion of the fight is kind of well... dues ex machinsh. This is good stuff though but I'm sure you know that.
