I just bought your forms and the new rose-gold collection today. I can’t wait to practice with “the button.” I have been practicing and experimenting, lol, with your slow monomer, and have become more comfortable with the liquid to powder ratio. I have been practicing on your worksheet and on false tips. I have not done live trials yet ☺️. When it becomes safe to travel again, and if, I hope, you continue to offer your courses, I would love to attend them. I will say, COVID has ignited my passion for acrylic and learning how to use other products like different types of gel. 💜 from Toronto!

I was just about to comment asking for this!!! I fell in love with long nails as a kid in the late 90s/early 2000s, when my friend's grandmother was a nail tech. Her nails were probably 3" long scoops! So different from today's straight nails, but will always be cemented in my brain as iconic!

I got my Button forms today all 500! Living in ca. meant the shipping cost was more than the forms but it was 110% worth it! I got the alert that my package was delivered I rush to the mailbox and nothing… he post man put it in the wrong box and I know a lot of my neighbors I asked around and nothing this was yesterday then this morning at 6am a man comes to the door drops off a box. He was a Neighbor giving me my package it was so nice of him to give it back and not keep it or throw it out or ship it back. I was so happy to open my box it was perfectly wrapped up and all the lovely paper and little thank you and how to cards was beautiful I haven’t used them Yet but excited to do so I am new to hybrid gel like a couple of weeks new and I have spent those weeks watching all your videos and o have learned sooo much! I actually am on nail 9 of my first full set that looks actually pretty good they even have an apex and a dolphin nose I mean let’s be real they have their problems but learning to do a set I’m happy to wear makes me so happy. Also, I thought the plastic nail forms would be so easy and helpful turns out NOPE! For me the nail forms was easier to learn and do than the plastic posit things.

24:34...loving the forms but one thing, no numbers. Other nail forms have numbers which is very useful keeping all nails at the same length. Without the numbers I now have to make sure that I am at the first line or second line or third lying as I’m going moving on to each nail, and probably backtracking making sure but I am at the right line. I love the roundness of the form but I wish they had numbers. These little details help timing in salons. And time is money!! I know you know this Suzie, that’s why I was surprised these forms have no numbers. I’m going still buy these forms just because I love ❤️ me some Suzie 🥰💖

Thank you for mentioning the form doesn't need to be fully tucked in. Some nails (like my index finger) have a tendency to grow crooked to the side, curved downwards or have a weird hyponychium. The shaping can take ages, and one can just build the nail, then file it underneath. ✨ Much faster!

This video was a beaut!! I am a training nail tech and I cannot explain the frustration I feel when doing my own nails! I have quite wide, flat nails and so most tips don't work well for me as the sizing coupled with the curve of the tip is so hard to find a good fit for me. I bought some forms a while back to practice and as you mentioned some students do, I was SO obsessed with the form fitting snug around the whole nail that I would just get frustrated and throw them aside and settle for a tip that wasn't quite right! This video taught me a lot about what IS important when fitting forms, so now my next try i'll have a different outlook and hopefully over time I can master them! Thank you!!
@HeyYallItsJen8 ай бұрын
My nails grow at an almost upward angle. The form just looks off no matter how I adjust it - from a side view. Because of this I've been using tips. I'd love to try forms because my nails are kinda narrow and flat, so I have a hard time getting tips to fit comfortably. Thank you for all you do! I've learned so much! I wish you were around 20 years ago when I graduated cosmetology school. 😅 I learned how to do a basic manicure, and that's about it. Even though I'm licensed to do nails, as well as hair and skin care, I would never attempt to do nails professionally. But, I've learned so much doing my own!
