What's even more fun is that Nails and Concrete Winds released on the same day... If you still need a good auditive pounding after 18 minutes of Nails - new Concrete Winds is 24 minutes of pure chaos interlaced with some darn good grooves

Not a Nails fan, but if they ever make an entire record with death/doom style "They Come Crawling Back" songs, I'll be the first in line to buy it.

NAILS is like Gandalf when he comes back from the dead as Gandalf the White "We are Sepultura. Rather, we are Sepultura as they should have been after Arise" Now we just need Dragged Into Sunlight to drop their new album! NAILS and Dragged Into Sunlight are (I believe) the only two bands that have absolutely ZERO misses on every album. I start each album and it plays through EVERY time without me skipping a single note

This might be my personal favorite album of theirs, but god fucking DAMN, that last album just pummels you. They know how to make catchy songs without many hooks, Give me the painkiller is my favorite song from here

This new album has hooks galore. Every song has a chorus. Todd said he’s a fan of rock music.

The thing with Nails is that you cannot really compare it to other bands that may be similar or have some of the genres that they borrow from but the only thing is to compare them to themselves. So having listen to the album 8 times already because of the short length. this is certainly below "You will never be one of us" was it worth the wait? maybe.... Is difficult to say because there are no band like them now. i will go for the 4 skulls personally
@Spookyaki12 ай бұрын
It’s their least musical since their first record, but this might be the best songwriting they’ve ever done. Every song is catchy as hell somehow for grind/hardcore/powerviolence

This album is ridiculous. Not just trying to be Cliche with this comment. Considering the vocals aren't on the lower end tone wise of extreme vocals. With the 17 minutes this album assaults you for. Genuinely, this is the heaviest album across metal for a while. Wow. Simply just wow.

He's not a tool, and they're actually pretty solid live. Given the fact it's a relatively newer line up this time round. Maybe the sound resonates too much off your bald head.
