The concept of "true" and "pseudo" solids is misleading and obsolete. Amorphous and crystalline solids are best distinguished on the lack of long range order in amorphous state. Saying that amorphous solids are pseudo-solids would imply that they are somehow not solid. Also, it is not true that all crystalline solids are anisotropic. It depends on type of crystalline structure, and the most common example of crystalline soild, NaCl, is isotropic.
