Your not joking. Main thing I’ve notice with mine is focus more on infinite combat with cheap useful creatures and board wipe protection. It’s can win turn 4 with god hand a perfect draws but I average about turn 6-7. Consistent and it hasn’t lost yet in my group, they’ve soft banned it. It’s that good.

Absolutely love your deck techs. They have certainly made me think of many card interactions in a whole new light. My include for this would be Hamletback Goliath. 6R for a 6/6 Giant Warrior "whenever another creature enters the battlefield, you may put X +1/+1 counters on Hamletback Goliath where X is that creature's power" so not only do your Warrior tokens pump him, but any creatures opponents drop make him bigger and scarier.

Yes! Thank you for doing this Battlebond commander first DJ! I'm so excited for this commander! When I saw this I cried a bit on the inside! This is my dream commander! This is what I've wanted for so long! A commander that gives extra combat steps! On top of that it is five colors, costs only three mana, only requires one color to cast, she makes a big army, she gives your attackers trample and lifelink, and your tokens haste, and she's a Warrior tribal commander, and she doesn't have to be either! She's all that I could ask for! She's by far my new favorite commander, and I can't wait to play her! I already went and bought most of the cards that I want for the deck a couple days ago. I'm so excited for this commander! Edit: Oh and I forgot that you can give warrior tokens to an opponent! There's so much to do with this card! I love how you can be political with Najeela too!

I already pre-ordered this card when it was still cheap. I already got 90 cards ready. I included Urza's Incubator, Belbes Portal, Quicksilver Amulet, Champion of Rhonas and Elvish Piper. Since most of the warrior cards I have does not have casting effects or abilities. Will see. I hope its a fun deck like the Knights deck. Thanks again Jumbo. I really want to build a Najeela deck, she is amazing, and your deckbuilding tips are helpful to say the least, but I would like to point out a card that you didn't mention when you talked about going tall: shared animosity, you attack with 5 warriors (looks like a magic number in this deck) and now you get 5 +4/0 warriors, a little more intimidating ;) By the way I love your deckbuilding videos, I'm looking forward to other battlebond commanders :D

Shared animosity is still very strong and could easily find a place in this deck. Remember that the warriors that are created are already attacking so they are not calculated into the shared animosity trigger ... although if we ever attack twice OOOOHHHHH BOY!

Yeah that extra battle phase looks great, and you know wich other warrior helps doing that: neheb the eternal (wich happens to be also a minotaur and a zombie), it generates mana that could be spend on aggravated assault, or to cast a huge x spell to flood the board with tokens

Hey Jumbo! You're awesome, but I think you are incorrect on this interaction. It would only come up when Najeela and Shared Animosity are on the battlefield and both are triggered abilities. If you own both Najeela and Shared Animosity you get to decide how to stack the triggers. Tokens are created before Animosty resolves, so the tokens are calculated into the power buff. 5 warriors attack, you create 5 tokens, then each of the 5 ORIGINAL attacking warriors get +9/0 rather than the +4/0 they would normally get. Of course the tokens that were created after the trigger was put on the stack don't get the pump, but since the ability see's them attacking when it actually resolves, they are calculated into the power buff. Also, this is simplifying it because Shared Animosity and Najeela created a separate trigger for each instance (so there would be 10 total triggers in my example rather than the simplified 2).

Two things not mentioned in the combo section with Earthcraft and Cryptolith Rite. First, Song of Freyalise is a functional (albeit temporary) substitute for either card, arguably better than Earthcraft Secondly, using Earthcraft, Cryptolith Rite, or Song of Freyalise, you can generate infinite mana in combat once more than five creatures are attacking, after Najeela's ability has been activated once. In fact, it can go infinite before the very first combat damage step of the turn. Untapping attacking creatures doesn't cause them to stop attacking, so, tap 6 creatures for mana, untap them all with Najeela, rinse and repeat. Couple this with a mana sink like Read the Runes, buyback spells, or even a creature like Mirror Entity, and you just win! This card is Tazri levels of broken. Great video, so hyped for this commander!

Been loving watching a bunch of these videos this weekend, guy. The explanations are in-depth and thorough. Love the presentation and channel bro! Najeela present a problem for me. I LOVE warriors. Whether in Magic, fantasy or playing D&D. Issue is, I've built and rebuilt and took apart and rebuilt a Warrior commander over the past 4 years - Alesha. Built her honestly a lot around the Fire Enblem series as a theme. Najeela seems fun as heck, but I don't know if I want to open up the deck to 2 more colors. Admittedly, the top-end when the decks both perform at their best is waaaaay higher for Najeela, and green adds a lot of depth. But I love the resistance of Alesha through her ability to recur and having to commit less to the board all at once, and I don't know how to balance out the two options. Obviously Alesha could just slot in, but in the 99 vs the 1 feels soooo different. Any thoughts you'd have friend are always appreciated!

When you read the text of Brutal Hordechief around 5:30, you said the ability cost "3 Boros Boros". This might confuse new players that don't understand how hybrid mana works. I would suggest saying "3 and 2 hybrid boros". Thanks for another great video!

Kindred Discovery won't trigger on the tokens created by the commander though. They are attacking when they are created, thus they don't get an 'when attacks' trigger. They will, of course, trigger in the next combat phase.

How fast is Eldrazi Monument for this deck? I mean as in does it have a place, or do other cards simply work better for combat. This came to mind since the tokens seem easy to make and giving all of your creature a slight buff, evasion, and indestructible seems nice

It seems pretty good. I'd try it out but just make sure you don't have too many of this effect. I'd say 5 effects that make tokens relevant and a bonus if they synergize in other ways (mana curve, warrior, etc)

One of the best R/U (red/blue) storm commanders is Mizzix of the Izmagnus because of the reduction of mana allows you to play many spells in a single turn (storming off). I might suggest a different deck than storm for you. Storm is fun for you the turn you storm off but it is so focused on your singular plan of casting tons of spells in a single turn that you don't really interact with your opponents. You might enjoy building and goldfishing this deck more than bringing it to the table with friends.

Just want to point out that Nacatl War-Pride is a warrior and is super dumb with multiple combats, anthems and effects that control attackers/blockers. Also of note is that you have a legendary sub theme going on, so you could try to find if there is a way to exploit that on top of the warrior theme.

I also have another suggestion for going infinite. Neheb, the Eternal is really good with Aggravated Assault, because it's really likely that you get enough mana from Neheb to activate Aggravated Assault. And Neheb is also a warrior

Bramblewood Paragon is a card you forgot to mention when it came to giving trample to your team. Similarly, Metallic Mimic acts as a fantastic cheap lord to help permanently power up your warriors as they enter the battlefield much in the same vein as Bramblewood Paragon.

Good video, though you left out the Cryptic Gateway again. Tap two token warriors to put a multicolor warrior from your hand into play at any time, them shenanigans is worth a 5 cost artifact.

Because you place the tokens onto the battlefield already tapped and attacking, I don't believe the tokens trigger attacking abilities on their first time around. Reason being is because the tokens created tapped and attacking are never declared as attackers, therefore they will not trigger things. Similar to how Kaalia is able to bypass certain triggers like Rakdos and Master of Cruelties.
