A quick heads up. I missed putting the prices in for 4 cards in the video at the beginning of Tactic #2, Tiny Leaders. My apologies, it is something I should have caught in post-production! Here are the prices: Tattermunge Maniac: $0.29 Wild Nacatl: $0.84 Zurgo Bellstriker: $0.25 Nettle Sentinel: $0.25 Also, Song of Freyelise triggers only affect creatures that are already on the battlefield when the trigger goes off, so it actually can't go infinite unfortunately. Still a good card in the deck, but you would need Cryptolith Rite for that kind of combo!

When I did my Najeela deck I included white as well. You lose some creatures to fit that white mana in, but then you have access to Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist, Bastion Protector, and Frontline Medic, which all do a great job of protecting your Warriors while they'e attacking, and Mirri has the added benefit of protecting you from the opponents' attacks as long as she's tapped. A few other options - even without adding white to this - would be: Jedit Ojanen of Efrava - Whenever he attacks or blocks, you get a 2/2 green Cat Warrior with forestwalk, so you'e getting a considerable number of extra Warriors out this way. Breath of Fury - Another way to go infinite with this deck. Just keep attaching it to a Warrior you know is going to go unblocked. Cosmotronic Wave, Order//Chaos, Demoralize, Ruthless Invasion - All ways to prevent opponents from blocking, thus making them helpless to stop your team from annihilating them. Cosmotronic Wave also wipes out weenies your opponents have out. Chaos (even without adding the white needed to potentially cast Order) is straight-up better than Demoralize, but Demoralize still works as long as you meet Threshold, otherwise just giving all your creatures menace. Ruthless Invasion doesn't stop your opponents' artifact creatures from blocking, but it part of its cost is Phyrexian mana so if you don't have the red mana to cast it you can just pay some life instead. Joiner Adept - Basically a less expensive, easier-to-remove Chromatic Lantern. She can combo off of Bear Umbra if you choose to include it as well, allowing you to untap your lands over and over and go infinite with Najeela. With a deck like Najeela keep in mind, even if you're limiting your colors, you could easily splash in "offcolor" spells that use Phyrexian or hybrid mana or split cards that include offcolors since Najeela is a WUBRG commander. Just keep in mind how you'll be limited (for example, you could only ever pay 6 colorless for Beseech the Queen since you have no access to B, and would have to pay 3 colorless and 4 life for a Norn's Annex since you have no access to W, and could only use the halves of a split card for which you have the mana).

I know it's been over a month, but I've found a fantastic addition for this (sorry if it's already been mentioned): Five-alarm Fire. Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage put a blaze counter on it, remove 5, deal 5 damage to target creature or player.

Some further additions I added *Helm of the host - Double Najeela triggers Archetype of Aggression - Adds trample, but also removes the worry of it that comes with only having weenies Tauren Mauler - Changelings ftw *Dolmen Gate - No more combat damage dealt to our little buddies, help them stick Bow of Nylea - Our attacking creatures have deathtouch, makes them think about blocks *Kruin Striker - Whenever another creature enters the bf under our control, +1/+0 and trample until turn end Purphoros - Cause... yeah, he's expensive for a reason, def not budget *Shared animosity - Whenever a creature we control attacks +1/+0 for each other attacking creature we control that shares a type with it (trigger after Najeela to extra pump your veterans, but wont affect the rookies unfortunately) * = ones I strongly recommend

Just discovered this channel and not sure how I've missed it for this long. I've been wanting to build a Najeela deck and this is a great starting point. I think I will put this one together and update where I can with cards I already have in my collection. I will then add to the deck over time to get it up to a more competitive level (if it needs it). My Commander playgroup is on the competitive side so it'll be interesting to see how this budget build will fare. Thanks for the video!

Yet another fine deck, good sir. But with that many creatures attacking, you've missed an opportunity in Dogpile: 3R, instant, that deals damage to any target equal to the number of attacking creatures you control. It's a great finisher, that has won me tons of games!

A splash of black for mindblade render would be 100% worth. I made a najeela deck of my own and between that card and edric, you can draw all of the cards and play all of the warriors. If you get through with the team even once, you just refilled your hand.

I think the land with the rainbow waterfall from Amonkhet(or HOD) would fit here. It lets you recolor 5 mana in any way you'd want. Another way to activate commander, if you need only one more attack step.

Id personally throw in Rubblebelt Raiders. Getting a +1/+1 counter for each attacking creature when it attacks, it gets huge. It is a 4 drop, so it would top out the curve.

(note also she dont have to be a warrior commander ) she can go infinite with warrior token just by swinging 3 times and a combo card, so being in 5 color you have ways to be creative :)

I run a 5c Jund Najeela. I have 6 Haste Enablers, only 2 cards (including Najeela) that need blue, and if I budget the mana base there will be next to no need for white. I have proxy duals and fetches so it can run smooth

@@emdub9679 Ah gotcha, and definitely understandable. 5 color decks are definitely do-able on a budget, for example my Jodah deck is 5 colors. The main difference though is that is a much more controlling and slower deck. Najeela (at least in the way I chose to build her) is an aggressive deck that needs to be able to rely on its mana base. If you wanted to go all in on a more controlling combo budget Najeela deck, that is probably more viable in 5 color than an aggro build would be.

Narabedla I play a niv mizzet deck and it’s easier than you think. Signets, lockets, cluestones, gilded lotus, chromatic lantern, spell swindle etc. also you play things like dive down and negate to keep niv mizzet alive. You just wait until you can cast him with open mana.

​@@hunterk9973 Oh boy, that would be amazing, i love the new niv-mizzet and I'm looking forward to building a niv deck after standard yeah, but like you still need 8 mana or more on your second+ time. it is just so tempting to put omniscience+enter the infinite (it is a niv mizzet card after all :) ) and lab man into the deck same as the explore effects, even though those are fine, since they need your commander to be busted. i may do that and limit myself of Hard combos without niv, since i think they are not really fun for the table, especially "out-of-nowhere" wins with no preparation or time to react(outside of playing blue and having counterspells).

Narabedla I’ll just try to sell you on my brew then, haha so here’s the link: www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/1455884#paper I think Enter the Infinite, Curiosity, Lab Maniac, are very cheap just like you said, but I’ve found Omniscience with just Niv alone to be very good but not broken good. With my list, getting Niv Mizzet on turn 5 or 6 with extra mana up for a counter is very possible and happens most games, mostly due to cheap draw abilities to ensure you hit your land drops and find your mana rocks. I built it as a sort of arbiter. It doesn’t do much, it just sits there and bounces anything that becomes a threat to you. I found the right way to build it is to make people try to forget about you, and let threats stay on the battlefield as long as you make sure they’re not coming at you. Ping people, not creatures, unless that creature is coming for you. And just ping people with the highest life total and explain that you’re going to hit the highest person. Don’t make enemies. Bounce spells are there so that people learn not to hit you but they won’t be mad because they still have their creature. Don’t pass the turn unless you have at least two mana up, at the very very minimum. The deck is looking to stay in the game until LATE, when the massive threats come up, and then you hit your opponent with an enormous drake, giving it haste with boots or Maximize Velocity. River’s Rebuke moves things out of the way. You should end the game clutching about thirty cards in your hand. It’s an amazingly fun deck and it has my highest win ratio of all of mine, because I’m never the threat to go for and always win in one big turn.

Song of Freyalise only affects creatures on the board at the time that its text resolves-- so, in other words, your "combo" doesn't quite work. The created warrior tokens will not be able to tap for mana, because they were not on the board when the card was played/the lore counter was added. You can combo a few times, based on the size of your board, but you cannot go infinite. Still a good card in the deck, still a win condition, not an instant infinite with ten units.
