I had never seen it when I first heard the infamous rant sampled during a compilation mix album by Orbital. From there I found out what film it was from. Definitely one of my favourite British films of all time.

Great film saw it 1995 oct,on uk tv everyweek they put a british film on showing the true potential of british film makers this film is a gem maybe a bit controversial,but excellent.

love the film. Don't say this to try and take it down, but is david thewlis character not a misogynist? He skirts the line of r@pe repeatedly, he seems to enjoy toying and testing women, floating in his intellect to avoid any counter punches. I guess he does this with male characters too. a grim and captivating protagonist
