But if you actually watch all the games, you will see Nalyssa being the cause of many of CC’s & team’s overall TO’s. Smith is a good player, but not a good fit for Fever/ under CC’s run & gun/ push the pace/ perimeter defense focus. Smith has bad decision making & shooting mechanics… often losing balance so easily on rebounds & Her own shots ending up falling on floor to not get back on transition defense as a result. Opponents ALWAYS scores when Smith makes these mistakes & slows down game with her lumbering low post spin moves that go right into teeth of defense/ double teams usually… & Rarely pass Out of it to open shooters (like Boston can & does). I hope she moves on to another team where she is better fit & has more of spotlight that she wants

You need to watch a video of her play , without highlights or maybe the podcast of "Awful coaching " and that will give you a better idea of her lethargic demeanor on the court. Highlights are Highlights!! They skew one's perception of reality. Check it out. Videos of her missed layups are legendary. As her Defensive posture, where things are happening around her, and she seems oblivious. She can't anticipate. She only reacts, albeit belatedly. A player with a specific skill set. But if you watch her performance, without the Highlights being emphasised, you get a better picture of her worth to the team.

I think Nalyssa gets more shade/criticism than she deserves. Go back and watch the camera shots of the Fever bench during the games. Nalyssa is excited, jumping up and down and cheering on her team mates, every single game. I also think she is not as bad a player as some make her out to be. She's not triple A, but she get rebounds and drops shots every time she's on the court. I'd say half the games she plays, she is actually decent.

And she would way know that everybody is still talking about her post. i thought she was brave given the potential of being asked about that. People who are saying don’t play Smith, she is compromised are delusional. She is the best matchup on Alyssa Thomas who is 6’2 and listed at 200 pounds and plays with high physicality, combo forward. Smith is strong and rebounds well, more mobile than Dontas and more physical than Temi. AB is matched up with Brianna Jones at center. Temi is a better matchup for Bonner, both are 6’4” and Bonner gets most of her points at the perimeter, 3 pointers. I guess Hull might start on Bonner, Harris and Carrington, Suns guards, KM and CC match ups. Let’s Go Fever!

Smith is not a good player but she has all the tools. What she needs is to either listen to those who are trying to develop her game or go to coach who will give you what you need to get better. Her offensive game is good but her strategy to score is bad and it limits her. On defense they all are very weak on fundamentals which I would say is coaching but Smith is tall and relatively quick for her size so if she gets the right coach she could be something special. My guess is she will be in California next year.

It's like the 6th man on the floor whereever u go and they may have come for clark but each time they learning .ore about each of u and appreciating ur games. Like I want u to stay and tweak some things and work on being a defensive powerhouse along w offensive teams bc I know that is in there.
