I've got an entry level NS Design WAV and I love it. Looking into getting a higher-end model.

TJH3113 its worth getting a “higher end” model. Look into the Radius before this one though.

The person demoing the bass seemed very nervous and Ned looked pissed at him.

Ned didn't answer the question if the super capacitor ever wears out. I'd like to know if it would, like a battery does or if it would work in a DeLorean car for time travel. Excited to stumble across yet an other bass designed by Ned Steinberger! I had no idea these even existed. I feel Ned has the Midas touch with his design of basses!! I made the gross error of selling my 1984 Steinberger LX2 bass and now it's worth like TWICE+ what I paid brand new...so depressed over that and it played absolutely beautifully. Next time, get a bassist who will actually play some vs the light guitar picking technique and also announce which setting changes :) .

Will it die after a certain number of charging cycles? No. It’s an extremely reliable component and the minimum number of charging cycles is at least 50,000 (for your regular Li-Ion cell phone battery this number is about 500). So if you charge it once every day, it will last for more than 137 years… We think it’s probably long enough for most of us, even with the advances in modern medical technology. mi-si.com/faqs/

He did a lot of fiddling to get to the sounds. Better to have Vol/Bal than two volumes. Nice sounding instrument though

Horrible demo

I couldn't hear a difference between the active or passive settings because the mixing of the bass was so quiet but if I turned it up I'm sure the talking would have blown my speakers out.
