Bhai Satpal Ji has been trying to explain so beautifully 🙏🏼 May grace help the podcaster to detach himself from his ego that he is referring to as wisdom, just didn’t see that in him. He keeps bringing up differences , he is wearing a lens that he is not ready to get rid of. Divine is one and satpal ji keeps repeating the message as must have guru Nanak dev ji.

You are doing great job because before nobody talk about sikhism in English language which create barriers between sikhism and whole world. As there so many good speakers who know lot about it but because of language barrier they couldn’t convey they msg to world. The best thing is that you know the real concept of sikhism as described in gurbani. Otherwise most of the people are teaching same thing like karam kand and pkhands. I really appreciate your work world need it.

This guy is not a true sikh! If there are any Sikhs on here trying to learn about Sikhi, then this is one man you definitely don't want to watch! He says things like you don't need to believe in God, he says you don't need to pray at certain times of the day! He says you don't have to call God Waheguru, he says you can call him whatever you want! He says he don't believe in Heaven or Hell! The Guru Granth Sahib Ji mentions that there are different levels of heavens and hells! He says Kundalini yoga is amazing!! Something our Gurus were against and did not do! He also says he's learnt alot in his life from a guy called Rajniv Osho, please Google this Rajniv Osho. He was a Cult leader and his cult was involved in Peadophilia, Child Abuse and Rape. There's a Netflix documentary on this called 'Children of the Cult'. This guy is very clever actually, he has the roop of the Guru which makes Sikhs believe everything he saying to be true, I used to watch his videos and some videos I do agree with but some and most videos, I don't. It seems to me he is diluting Sikhi and trying to make it into a New Age Cult. He's putting his own spin on it. Very clever actually, he has to talk some truth and say some good points on Sikhi to keep the youth listening, he entices them in and then starts putting his own spin on it. Any Sikhs or anyone in that matter want to learn about Sikhi, then there's only one truth and that's the GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI. Be very careful who you listen to and watch, just because you see a man with a Pagh (turban) and a long beard, doesn't mean they are talking the truth. If you like learning about Sikhi but appreciate videos in English translation then watch and listen to BASICS OF SIKHI. They tell the truth about Sikhi, especially Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji from Basics of Sikhi, I learnt alot from him. 🙏🏽

THIS^^^ probably one of the most important conversations fit for public consumption or comprehension I’m sure others exist too, but this one is phrased so fluidly and with two amenable seekers from two traditions who are at once part of their paths while being beyond their collective paths ❤️🙏🏾 I am a guru vs I am not a guru 😂🙏🏾 Satpal is almost the flame, and inspires me more than so many others but Satpal knows the ego is a trap and fights the play of Maya ❤️

Religion often confines the spirit within dogmas and rituals, while true spirituality opens the heart and mind to the boundless possibilities of existence. The lesson of oneness is inherent in every religion, yet too often it gets lost in the translation of our interpretations. Thank you for bringing the true message of Unity or Oneness that Guru Nanak Dev Ji imparted 🙏

I am in love with you, too. GURPARSAD-as told by OSHO, and it is the best explanation, IMO. That Guru is the only one who can wake you up (from sleep). Basically, Guru is the one who brings you out of agyan to gyan state of mind-the third eye opens, and you can think.

Nice conversation, enjoyed it, would it be worth differentiating shiksha guru ( maybe multiple gurus or wisdom we are trying to gain as the little me) vs diksha guru (jagatgurus like Adishankaracharya, Ramakrishna, guru Nanak dev Ji and several others or not sure if we can put the cosmic intelligence as a direct guru). I thought the person who is enlightened now is called the "jeevanmukta", apologies if the small me has understood this wrong.

Went thru d talk again .. here r my tots n hope u don’t mind my sharing.. Would love your input n response.. forgive d length 🙏🏼 Loved d way Satpal interpreted d last line of d Mool Mantar.. n discussed Gurparshad.. GOD is d only guru.. n guru is GOD.. I feel no guru could equate to GOD as only when d guru is dissolved within d Oneness do we begin to fathom d ONE Our revering d 10/11 gurus is d cause for duality n leads many a believer away from Guru Nanak’s wisdom n teachings… it seems to b a test .. do we worship d gurus as raab or do we learn to go beyond d gurus n worship only GOD.. !?!? Why I love advaita.. the confusion is removed.. d guru is no more n is removed in d equation.. only pure thought n knowledge filtered to Gian n wisdom.. For me a true guru shows d way.. but is never d only way.. realization can come thru many beautiful paths… some defined.. some not.. Like d interviewer says.. religion should lead u to GOD n spirituality.. but not negate other faiths.. Guru Nanak never asked us to follow his religion.. nah ko Hindu.. nah ko Musalman.. (now nah ko Sikh) .. sirf Bhagwan.. 🙏🏼 being spiritual is so much more vital than being religious.. Like d interviewer Ravi says.. d isms should b broken.. n only GOD should remain.. n ONEness can only happen once religion’s boundaries r broken.. Sat Chit Ananda.. wonderful way of thinking Loved d Tuhi Tuhi Tuhi meditation point.. away from meh meh meh I defer in opinion from what they say tho.. Giving GOD d task of determination .. of your life n death n major events to me is naive.. GOD is d consciousness that pervades but not dictates.. GOD gives us strength to take what comes in life.. hukam.. but alas blaming GOD for all d events in your life.. separates us from GOD.. what comes.. comes.. what happens.. in our n other’s lives.. is not predetermined by SOURCE but by fate n events..n karam n karma to some level.. we manifest our own existence.. by our tots.. Who is GOD how do u define GOD.. !?! Satpal talks about surrendering to GOD to know GOD yet defines his tasks.. GOD to me is beyond tasks n control.. n is just d flow of events n of life.. with no deterministic powers.. cept love n truth n light.. n faith gives us d strength to handle what comes our way.. Giving GOD determinism is maya n frees us from any responsibility.. in truth d responsibility is ours.. with GOD being d perfection that we aspire to.. That aiming for perfection n oneness is what leads us to D ONE.. where even upon death n us finding that only nothingness exists.. that belief in ONEness n d ONE.. has blessed us a better existence… A primer n reminder that we have within our teachings.. the Naunidh.. the nine spiritual treasures that are d stepping stones to truth.. referenced to but hardly defined.. 🙏🏼 💞 THE NINE SPIRITUAL TREASURES OF GOD REALIZATION - The NAUNIDH The nine spiritual treasures are the steps or keys we must achieve along our journey to GOD Realization. 1.Acceptance...... HUKAM The first key to GOD is to accept and stop questioning his will n d natural laws n order of d Divine 2.Faith....... BAROSA Upon acceptance of GOD and beginning a quest in search of him, expand your mind, read all that is written and develop faith. 3.Detachment......VAIRAGYA When you have exhausted every outer search then be-gin your inner quest with detachment from any negative unhealthy relationship to the world and family. 4.Absolute Absorption......LEENTA Using GOD's name in prayer and meditation attain an absolute absorption in and attachment to GOD. 5.Balance.....SEHEJ If you actually quieten your mind, aim for balance and listen to the silence within, a point of equilibrium will be reached where 6.Joy......ANAND A light will fill your mind and your heart will quicken with Joy 7.Ecstasy....VISMAAG As you feel the LOVE and presence of GOD, you will be in a state of spiritual ecstasy. 8.Contentment.......SANTOKH Contentment will follow 9.GOD's grace/Humility....NADAR After a deeper realization of the wonder that is GOD one will, with humility, attribute all to GOD and only GOD and not think about his personal contribution as one is nothing without GOD. .

Of course, it is all Ego. But is it so easy to erase this Ego? Hence, the technique of surrender that Guru Granth Sahib teaches. But there are other techniques other than non-dualism. Other Indian Dualist philosophies also lead to the same goal. This, to say there's one technique or one method or means is again condemning other means, which is wrong.

Perhaps it is a warning about the pitfalls in the path of enlightenment - manifestation by GOD is always true, so the witness (us listeners) are seeing both the wave (subtle seperation) and the ocean... and that too is God's doing and grace.

@@ruhigujral4653 "manifestation by "god" "so the witness (listeners)" "see the wave and the ocean" "that too god doing and grace". You are thoroughly confused (like some sikhs and Hindus) by fake metaphysics like Vishishadvaita (a creation of colonialists through the distortion of Advaitha to create non existent difference between athma and paramathma). Their motive was to make dharmic tradition mimic Abrahamic religions so that through Bhakti movements or organized institutions people can be controlled just like how church and mosque control Christians and Muslims.
