I loved that she was a cop, and a partner. She was strong. She wasn't there to be set dressing. No one fell in love. A great part for a woman. I love that about the movie.

Lewis loved Murphy so much that she gave him back whatever humanity was left in him. That's why at the end of the movie he no longer refereed to Murphy as his past self, but he said his name was Murphy.

I was very young when this came out my mums bf had promised to let me watch it at his house , it got to about 10pm and my mum said nevermind something probably came up , all of a sudden theres a buzz at the door , and he gets me up from bed and i go watch the film i was about 8 years old... (ill never forget that he kept his promise!) its a cult classic and when murphy dies that was violence on a whole new level... brilliant movie!

Even when they came back they weren't the same character anymore, more noticeably the old man in 2 but as Nancy pointed out the director didn't like her and it shows in the movie.

Got to disagree with Nancy at 3:11, I thought her hair was super cute on Robocop, especially towards the end. It looked horrendous on the 2nd one, like Elizabeth Shue's wig to play old Jennifer McFly in 2015!

Only good part of Robocop 2 was the first 15 minutes where Murphy's wife comes to see him. Verhoeven directed that scene before he left, and then the movie / story just goes right into the toilet.

I don't think Verhoeven was available for any part of the movie, and the scene, if it was filmed at all, was a mirror to Ulysses' return, which is not like what we see in the actual film.

May he do not deserves nothing after his great effort and of course. And unique and human being so devalued? Or may you hates him cause is a boy..... Or a tribute for both whe. That may explain why Peter weller never talks about robocop 2, if she had a rough time and the director messing about too, god knows what peter had to put up with! Also robocop 3 i think was far to rushed, low budget and the wrong director etc.

I think it's more about how they ruined the characters and the movie suffering from it than him personally, it was much easier for him to fit on the suit and the making of the 1st film was already miserable so I don't think that he saw it as a worse experience, at least not the filming part.
