My local gym had a women only area but then guess what the men did, they sued the gym stating that the area was biased and unfair and won! Look up women only gym CT Absolutely horrendous, I’ve chosen a gym based on the worse reviews and the facts many people commented it is full of old and pt patients 😂

Just started going to the gym. I’m not new to working out and weights. But I found getting out on the floor and using the machines to be a bit intimidating. Thanks for demonstrating the pectoral fly machine. Saw a woman at the local gym using it facing the weights and made me think I'd been using it wrong - had no idea it was a 2-in-1 machine. Now I know for next time.

Your videos, tips from experience, and hard work are all greatly appreciated. I'm new to the gym and love going, but still get anxiety around asking for help or taking a moment to examine the machine if the gym is more than half full. Then I end up sticking to only what I know 😂 It's getting better. I'm learning more and am less anxious.

I recently learned that you can use that toe-separator-looking thing to put under your selected weight. This muffles the sound when you drop the weight as to not bother other people. :)

This video is so helpful! I’ve been going to the gym for about a month now and have been intimidated by some of these machines. This explanation of each one was perfect and easy to understand. Also, it’s cool that you blurred out the faces of other people in the gym with you! Not many people who record in the gym think to do that.

Those diagrams and pictures look really informative. None of the equipment in our apartment gym has instructions. We just pretty much try to not look too stupid while winging it. I just began fitness and lifting, what I did was to hire a personal coach to be sure I had a good program and how to use the machine. It helps me to feel more confident, I would recommend this to every person !

Nuno Filipe I know.. Yes totally ! It’s exactly what I’m doing, just one hour to know what and how to work the upper body, one hour for the lower body, and then I think I will do one hour per month just to see the changes and stuff. I have my program and will keep it :)

Anytime you should be able to ask for weight machine orientation and they will get someone to show you how to use the machines properly.
