I’m a complete beginner and it’s my first time setting foot in a gym, and i’ve been hearing people here and there say that i should increase the weight towards the end of each set, is that true? If so, should i start with a doable weight for me then slowly increase it with each rep? Or each set?

Yo deje el gym porque estaba muy caro. Estuve dos meses yendo casi a diario y hoy que hice esto con mancuerna de 10 lbs casi no lo sentí porque en las poleas levantaba hasta 65 libras. Pero es mejor que nada y sin lastimarme. Muchas gracias

I learnt on my second day that I can't WARM up on a treadmill, it started hurting my shins for so reason so I warm up on the stairmaster instead

The leg press machine in my gym works the opposite way, you push the foot pad away from you and your seat stays in one place.

I get so intimidated and disappointed with myself when I see what people lift when I'm at the gym but I see you can be fit and still not lift or push heavy weights. Sounds dumb but I really felt extremely weak observing others
